Don't take it for rewards. Reward rate is pathetic. 1RP equals ₹0.23
You can keep it for non spend based benefits like Lounge, Golf etc.

and haven't closed Edition yet either

Actually I've converted it to FYF World safari on April itself. Maybe that's why edition account is closed for me early. You can expect it by next month most probably.

World safari is not meant for rewards rather its USP is zero forex and travel insurance .
It’s the only card worth taking from RBL.

Whoever has it, just call RBL & say that the Reward Rate is very poor with Shoprite & I don't want to continue with it.
Also ask if there is any upgrade offer for World Safari/ICON.
Based on your profile there is 99% probability that you will be offered either one of them. Many people has got it.

Good idea to use when the time comes to renew it. I'm going to claim Scapia is already offering 0% forex. No point for me personally to continue my relationship unless the card charges are waived off for life.

Even if they offer reduced charges not crossing 999 I'm willing to keep mine

The Card charges are waived off for life if you are taking World Safari as LTF.
Secondly Scapia won't be giving you 50,000$ medical insurance which is mandatory for some of the country along with Priority Pass.

This is nothing new & ideally it should be like this.
If your card is upgraded then a new entry should be made.
Yes, it is another factor that RBL should be closing the old which they doesn't do very often.
So mail, them they will do it, for me they have done it.
