Opinion about the changes-
This is a huge devaluation. RBL Bank has removed the birthday benefit and accelerated reward points on spending done at stand alone restaurants.
No doubt, this card has lost its charms.
But yes, they have added Blinkit as an accelerated reward point partner, which is very good.

Time to close edition black card
In my opinion also, edition black will be too much of a liability. Considering the, 1770 annual fee! Also, LTF edition white though highly devalued will still reap good benefits for the restaurants that dont accept eazy diners/dineouts as I have seen the acceptability of Zomato Pay better! Also, no prior bookings are required!
Its more or less, Zomato Pro Plus for 1770/-

For my card 1999+GST and i am living in small city so zomato pro plus not available.Eazydiner is best for who holding axis premium cards. So now 0 value for my zomato black card

Haha seriously, Though, since the amount will be huge, I will be after thwm like anything😂 Hope is all that is left
they are rbl.....they send me otp and marketing offers on sms, but when i raised a complaint with them, they said they cannot resolve it as they cannot find me in their system because my phone number is not registered. and asked me to raise a ticket for that... which i could not raise because my phone number was not registered 😐 don't take risks with such banks.

In hindsight, this was bound to happen. Given how easily accessible this card is, the clientele is not niche for the banks (hence avenues for making money are much less).
And giving 5-10% rewards is not sustainable as a business.
It was bound to happen, it should not have, from a consumer perspective, but I am glad it did.

I get your theory. But why are you glad 😛

Just wondering if I should keep the classic card for the free zomato pro membership and the high acceptance of zomato pay at restaurants in my city after this devaluation.
The classic card however is chargeable for me which is just sad 🙁
