Received call regarding ICICI Sapphiro Credit Card LTF Upgrade

I am holding LTF ICICI Coral Credit Card. Today I received call from number starting from +9122..., she claimed that she is calling from ICICI and told me that bank is offering me free upgrade to LTF ICICI Sapphiro Credit Card. I asked her to share the details on email, but she told me that she does not have access to do that. She suggested me that either she can tell the features on phone or I can check it on iMobile or website. She told me that She only need my name and address in order to proceed further. I asked her to call me again tomorrow because I need time to check the features.
I checked my iMobile and also I contacted ICICI customer care after that, but I could not find this pre-approved offer there. What do you suggest, should I provide my details to her when I receive call again tomorrow? or This can be fraud call? Does ICICI bank provides such offers only on phone? Can I trust them?

When I had the Platinum Card, I once accidentally pressed the upgrade button for the Paid Sapphiro card. Sapphiro card was generated and immediately got reflected in iMobile. I realised my mistake. Then I placed closure request through netbanking. The card was closed before dispatch. And next day I got message from ICICI -" Congratulations on your new Sapphiro card" . That must be the fastest card closure in history. Even their card team could not realise.

I have Amazon pay credit card , placed upgrade request on Twitter and got paid coral rupay. Will I be eligible to get ltf upgrade offers on this card? Or I will only get paid offers.

LTF card is very much possible. Ask for it

Getting paid card from icici is a crime..... That too coral rupay which they distributed LTF like chocolates sometime back

Got an email confirmation that upgrade to emeralde private is successful and should receive the card in 5-7 days.

I don’t see any limit enhancement , it was the same . I have 8 L limit. Actually as per sourcing > 6 L limit and existing emeralde is one of the criteria.

I got a call from +912269785678 on 18 Jan for Sapphiro Dual variant LTF. I recorded the whole call and said Yes.
I got call from same agent form +912269785001 today on 20 Jan for confirmation to proceed for Sapphiro LTF. I recorded the call and confirmed to proceed.
Earlier I was thinking it to be spam call. Now posts in this thread are giving me hope.
P.s- Already holding AmazonPay, Platinum, Coral, Rubyx LTF.

I got a call from +912269785678 on 18 Jan for Sapphiro Dual variant LTF. I recorded the whole call and said Yes.
I got call from same agent form +912269785001 today on 20 Jan for confirmation to proceed for Sapphiro LTF. I recorded the call and confirmed to proceed.
Earlier I was thinking it to be spam call. Now posts in this thread are giving me hope.
P.s- Already holding AmazonPay, Platinum, Coral, Rubyx LTF.

Update: Cards now visible in imobile. Now have to confirm LTF status before activation.

I don’t see any limit enhancement , it was the same . I have 8 L limit. Actually as per sourcing > 6 L limit and existing emeralde is one of the criteria.

Is this criteria working now if limit greater than 6L?

Let me tell u my experience. I have got Rubyx LTF in May 2024 as an upgrade from Coral LTF. In Dec, Sapphiro paid started showing in Upgrade section. Got a call also. I rejected saying I will take only LTF. Then I requested Icici on X/ Twitter for Sapphiro LTF. They replied no such offer yet. Then I got call again in ending Dec offering FYF Sapphiro. I rejected saying I need only LTF. Then call another call on 18 Jan for LTF Sapphiro. I recorded the call and gave my consent.
Also Sapphiro Paid is still showing in Upgrade section.

To add, my usage for past 1 year in core cards is around Rs 5k only. I am using amazon pay card mostly.

I cancelled adani once I received it as that card will be reported as a seperate card in CIBIL, and I am anyways overleveraged. But rubyx and sapphiro I kept. I will cancel before 1 year is up, both cards.

Strange I never fckn' got "LTF" offers on calls.

And people calling ICICI calls scam, just shut up. I know there are scam calls but usually those are just where they ask for card numbers otp etc, if they are just asking to confirm last 4 digits of current card and address confirmation, it is a genuine call.
