Received incorrect card

I applied for bpcl octane card for my father. After completing the application it showed thank you for applying for SBI BPCL octane card in the sms alongwith application number. But when it was approved sms recieved was for pulse card with the annual fees also mentioned. Today received the physical card and it is the pulse card.

I applied for simplyclick card for myself and the same thing happened. When application was completed it sent SMS thank you for applying for simply click card. But it has been approved and received the same sms as pulse card with fees mentioned as 1499 instead of 499 for the simplyclick.

What should I do? Can I request them to change the card to bpcl octane and simplyclick? Or should I wait for 3 months without activating the cards and apply again?

Dear SBI Cardholder, Domestic Trnx. usage (POS,ATM) has been activated on your SBI Credit Card ending ****. To activate International Trnx. usage or to manage your Trxn. limits, log in at https://sbicard.com/manage-card-usage.

I have not received the physical card and have not accessed it through the app. Does it mean my new card has been activated?

My guess is, your card(any card) by default gets activated for domestic atm/pos.. you need to manually activate international and domestic online.
It is a stock SMS everyone gets it..
No need to worry, your card may still be in transit
