This 242 + next 10 days transactions will be dhown in next month statement.

Damn my bad, that way the points are correct then. The agent told me that the points accrue on billing cycle, also even the bank did not mention about monthly cycle anywhere. Why complicate the process in the first place! btw thanks for the explanation.

Points for march 01-31 will be credited in the first week next month. It's not based on billing cycle but calendar month. Don't go by what agents/customer care tells you. Always check the website for most accurate information.

btw called hdfc phone banker and she even raised a complaint regarding this, she was literally narrating stuff from the website and knew nothing about different cycles.

Just read that gift cards via amazon wont be considered for 5% cb(green one in ss). Thanks for the information, i was planning to use apay balance for utility payments as i already had 13k balance via other card's redemption, but i guess thats no more beneficial other than expiry date cycle.

Yea but u still get 1 per extra cb na . 5 per from smartbuy plus 1 per default so that 147.5 rs for 10000 is nullified
