Regalia to DCB Points Conversion at 30% vs Redemption for a GV before Upgrade

So I'm in talks with the PNO to upgrade my Regalia LTF to DCB FYF (End goal is Infinia -- But due to lesser CL than required, unable to get Infinia but spends criteria is easily met).

They just sent the upgrade form to be filled and signed and at the same time they've mentioned the points conversion would be at 30% and I have significant number of points in my Regalia.

I did the math and it's coming down to 1 = 0.20p and then I went on the Regalia redemption portal to calculate and even if I go for say a GV/GC of Amazon or any other, I'm easily getting 1 = 0.35p.

Should I redeem before upgrade or I'm missing out something? Or do the DCB points have higher value and those 30% are equivalent to Regalia's existing points?

It should be a 50% points conversion for Regalia to DCB/Infinia. So reconfirm the same with the bank. If they are offering a 30% conversion, then go ahead and redeem your points now before the upgrade.

Did you done upgrading from Regalia to DCB and got 50% reward points conversion on it ??
