Regalia to Regalia Gold without permission

Hi, i received message today that my Regalia card has been 'upgraded' to Regalia Gold.

Through I was getting lot of messages to upgrade, but I never consented for any upgrade.
I have written to their customer care email id to complaint.

Has anyone else also getting such upgrade messages without consent?

On worst case scenario, what would I be missing if I get Regalia Gold card w.r.t Visa Regalia?

Threaten for an RBI Complaint and demand it as LTF. Take this chance of bank's mistake and convert it to your advantage.

PS: They're phasing out Regalia and are now issuing Regalia Gold instead.

Thanks for the revert...let's see what they revert on my initial email and would accordingly take it ahead as suggested.

Otherwise, is there any feature/ advantage of Regalia which will be missed out in Regalia Gold?

If you already have LTF card, I dont think you should worry. They wouldn't convert it to paid variant without some form of your permission and even if they did, you should be able to convert it easily back to LTF variant by raising a complaint

I had Regalia LTF before and was being offered Regalia Gold as FYF.

Later got a DCB so the messages stopped but be careful as Regalia Gold isn't generally offered LTF and mostly FYF.

Are you able to see regalia gold in your netbanking or mycard porta?
I also received same message but netbanking is still showing regalia and I am still getting an option of upgrade to paid regalia gold from LTF regalia...

So can you please confirm if there is some activities related to card upgrade happened or not?
I also received same message but no further activities after that.

I hope it is the same message which was received by OP as well.

I checked mobile banking but I dont see upgraded card. Still I am seeing regalia as current card and regalia gold as an option to upgrade.

So I am not sure whether the message of upgrade is really legitimate or not. 😀😀

This means you have an offer to upgrade, until you open the link or "upgrade" on the app/website followed by your confirmation, they won't upgrade it.

How did you receive DCB? I'm also getting Regalia gold FYF offer but interested for DCB. Currently I'm using Regalia LTF with 5L limit.
