Regarding kotak everyday savings account opening for 811 super savings account holder

Now the Everyday debit card is dead ... 30% off upto Rs. 250 that too valid once a month on EazyDiner.

My case is just the opposite, I'm thinking of getting Everyday savings account converted to 811 Super savings account, is it possible? Or, do I need to close Everyday savings account first and then apply for a fresh 811 Super savings account?
For some, it has worked. Others, it didn't.

My advice? Send email to PNO asking the same: downgrading account to 811 super saving.

If they say, visit your branch then visit the same. Once branch denies, send email to PNO again citing your old ticket number and mention that branch has denied the upgrade. Please close my account permanently, I want to end the relationship with your bank.

Then magic happens. Sit tight and wait.

okay, will get this done via email

I was going through 811 Super Savings A/C features and saw that Rs. 10k has to be deposited initially but at other place it was mentioned that every month Rs. 10k needs to be deposited, is that so? If yes, that's highly irritating and I would rather not open this account. Rs. 10k MAB is better (for me) rather than depositing Rs. 10k every month. Can anyone shed some light on this please?

Yes, you have to deposit 10K every month then you can instantly send it to your another account. You will just miss out cashback if you don't deposit 10K.

If cashback is not your concern then you don't need to deposit anything. Btw, there is a proper thread of Kotak 811 super, I've been replying in that thread since it came in 2024 and been using it as well.
