Rent Payment through Wallets!

Both Paytm and Amazon Pay can transfer money through UPI from the wallet balance. Can we not just recharge the wallets with our credit cards and then pay rent to the landlords through the wallet balance? I think it's an easier way to navigate through the charges on platforms like Cred.

Paytm charges around 2.35% for wallet loads. Most credit cards don't offer reward points or cashback for wallet loads.
On the other hand Rent pay through credit cards can be done at 0.5% to 2% on many platforms. This also gives reward points and will be considered for milestone benefits(Referring to Axis Magnus)

Even though PayTM charges 1.65% for me i still use it instead of nobroker or magicbricks because less spam emails from those websites and there's always 500 or 600 cashback for two rent payments above 25k each month for me so effectively reducing it to less than 1%

Idea is straight up but wallet loading charges kill the credit card rewards even if it’s scb ultimate
Best to use is during 3x or 5x festive offers this straight method for reaching that milestones
Again it’s not for magnus

Use your Amex MRCC or Standard Chartered Ultimate cards to load Amazon Pay cash wallet. Then transfer those funds so loaded to your landlord's bank account. You would need full KYC on Amazon though.

You can get up to 3.57% return on MRCC depending on the amount (Rs.20000 is the sweetest spot) and consistent 0.97% return on Ultimate.
