Rent payment with super premium cards

There have been a number of posts but would like to create 1 master post to summarize the best current rent payment strategy for the superpremium cards (infinia/dcb, magnus, reserve, plat charge, stanc ultimate)

1. HDFC Cards (Infinia, DCB); Redgiraffe is the best solution with no upper limits and c.0.5% charge. The MCC here is insurance so until that loophole is plugged, one can continue to earn RPs and get milestone benefits

2. Axis Cards (Magnus, Reserve); Payzapp + Redgiraffe if you are able to add your card. If not, then BharatNXT but uptil a limit of 1L/month. No real proper solutions other than that?

3. Amex Cards (Plat Charge); full RPs but doesnt seem to have a cost effective + dependable way to pay. Folks have suggested Mobikwik with charges of 2.5%+ leaves nothing on the table. Any other ideas ?

4. StanC Ultimte; through redgiraffe and despite recent devaluation still offers 2% RPs for rental payments. So if the infnia route is plugged, this can be a fallback option

Any other ideas for these bunch of cards?

I think AU Zenith still gives a reward rate of 1.25% on rent and payzapp + Redgiraffe works for it.

Also for people with not much CC spends and having HDFC Visa platinum DC can try billpay Redgiraffe. Will net 0.5% (I haven’t tried, but theoretically it should), still better than paying via UPI.

Was on payzapp waitlist.. finally got it today.. also was able to add axis card which wasn’t possible in old payzapp.. now with new payzapp and redgiraffe are we getting regular reward points on hdfc and axis cards for rent payment? Have genuine rent payment every month hence asking..

Thanks, just checked working for me too and damn, the interface is much better than older one.

While HDFC Cards (Infinia and DCB) are working fine now for Payzapp + redgirraffe combo due to Insurance payment MCC, what is the guaranty that those points earned will not be reverted back in future? Only real solution to me at this point seems to be AU Zenith since they dont have specific T&C for 1st rental payment and earn rates, 2nd onwards they are charging

redgiraffe insurance mcc only for hdfc cards or also for axis cards if paid via payzapp?

redgiraffe insurance mcc only for hdfc cards or also for axis cards if paid via payzapp?
Same query.
1.Milestone-if new Payzapp+redgiraffe combo with Axis cards is considered as rent payment(not insurance as in case of HDFC cards)-
A. Excluded from milestone benefit? (Rent is excluded for monthly milestone)
B.normal rewards points? (i.e. 12 RP for 200 Rs.)
2. Reward points-if the same combo is accepted as a insurance payment in axis cards
C. No rewards point?(as insurance payment is not considered for rewards)
D.Monthly milestone is consider?(insurance is conidered for monthly milestone.)

So much confusion. If anybody tried and tested after 5th Mrch, please guide.

I had done rental payment transaction (Redgirraffe) on Payzapp with HDFC Infinia card on Mar/13 but no rewards points so far. Probably they have already fixed the MCC issue.

Anyone got rewards points for rent transaction on Payzapp recently?

Points will come separately when the statement is generated.
