Its a organic thread and will be kept updated as new information emerges. Banks are reluctant to issue rupay platinum card so in many banks you have to try multiple times. Best way to get is by calling customer care on call.

1. AU BANK-

For new customers- you will get Rupay platinum card by default on online digital account

For existing customers-

Apply for a RuPay Platinum Debit Card instantly by following these simple steps and enjoy several benefits:

Visit any branch: Head to your nearest branch and apply in person.
Call customer care: Alternatively, you can apply for a new card by calling customer care number 1800-1200-1200.

Charges- 150 + 18% gst


2. HDFC BANK-

For new customers - You can get rupay platinum card as default by applying for farmers account online

3. ICICI BANK

Icic rupay platinum card can be only issued by customer care. Call them and tell them to issue card. If they reject tell them to take a service complaint request about this card. After that you will see virtual rupay Platinum card in i mobile app and you will receive physical card in post.
Then it is important step. Never set ATM pin for new card through imobile app or through atm. Only use that card for online transaction. For online transaction don’t need pin. If we generate pin then issuance fees will be debited and old card will be automatically blocked.

By this way you can use your existing visa card plus rupay platinum card. For salary accounts both cards will be free

Go to bank account section in call and select talk to phone banking officer and request

Charges- 150+18% gst as per phone banking officer...



4. AXIS BANK-

For new customers - Axis republic salary account and easy access salary account holders will get this card by default.

For existing customers- you can either upgrade online in netbanking or call customer care for issuance on

1 - 860 - 500- 5555

Not everyone gets option to upgrade in netbanking so you can call customer care.


Charges- Issuance fees 200+18%gst and same annual fees from second year onwards

Apply for 101 priority account through this link with adhaar kyc. It only take 5 minutes. Virtual card can be viewed on their app. This account has 25k minimum balance. Don’t worry about it. Intial funding no need. It will automatically close after 1 year if we don’t do kyc. So 1 year we can loot amazon. 100*12= 1200 rs profit

11. EQUITAS BANK

Equitas bank issue RuPay Platinum card & Zero balance account:

First open online Equitas bank Selfe account – https://inet.equitasbank.com/...e/

Zero balance account,
virtual visa card (you need to visit bank branch to complete full KYC and issue RuPay Platinum debit card)
7% interest on saving account.

Balance in A/c XXXXXXXXXXXX as of 30-APR-21 EOD is INR 0.00, For any query call 1800-103-1222 . Check A/c for current balance . Credits in A/c are subject to clearing- Equitas Bank

Note – for RuPay Platinum, first complete full kyc from your nearest bank branch, then issue RuPay platinum debit card unless not.

Open a regular savings account... In any rural branch of city... Mab only 2000 rs.... You can get the card... I also did same.... And you won't get this card in mine account... That is only eligible for two cards... Mine and mine plus debit card

You will get 20% upto Rs100 on Amazon add money per month on fridays. so, yearly Rs1200 saved.
Multiple RuPay Platinum debit cards also work on same Amazon account,

Suppose if you have 30 to 50 cards (Some people already have 30 to 50 cards from different banks), Per month you will earn Rs3000 to Rs5000.
Annual saving Rs36,000 to Rs60,000.

Airport lounge access available on almost all RuPay Platinum debit cards, some banks dnt mentioned because people are misusing RuPay card airport lounge access.

Bro, SBI issue IOCL RuPay Platinum not BPCL.
Yes, complimentary airport lounge access available on all SBI RuPay Platinum debit cards but i also recommended once confirm with SBI customer support before use but i m also sure you will not get any proper reply from SBI support.

Or you can try this method, first set your card POS limit to Rs4 or Rs5 from SBI net banking. Now visit Airport lounge and use your card, if airport lounge access available then Rs2 debited, otherwise your transaction will declined.

I also ask my other friends, If they have already used this card for airport lounge access then I will inform you.

CVV also showing on Imobile app, maybe some technical problem, try after some time.

By the way ICICI RuPay Platinum debit card also eligible for all ICICI bank 10% discount offers on Amazon, flipkart etc.

KYC online submitted but they insisted on physical photocopies of Aadhaar and PAN which I submitted to nearby branch. However it was much easier and faster than filling out lengthy form of account opening at the branch. They said the account was already opened online very quickly. Surprisingly good experience from a nationalised bank.

Also, their netbanking seems to use the same software as Bank of Baroda – very similar UI, but has 2 extra handy options – one to change the user ID to a friendly form instead of some cryptic numbers and letters, and another very nice option to turn on email OTP besides SMS.

Yes but now HDFC bank issue RuPay Platinum International debit card (card image is same but International variant you will received).

Offline apply -

Filled E-Age HDFC Form/debit card with RuPay card Code: RRR01
submit to HDFC branch and done.
RuPay Platinum Card delivered – BIN 652166

Trick to get Free HDFC RuPay Platinum debit card -

Enter this RuPay card code: RRFL1 to get Free RuPay Platinum International debit card.

Difference between both the code - RRR01 is for Saving account holders and RRFL1 is for Salary account holders for free HDFC RuPay Platinum debit card

but You can also use RRFL1 on saving account, some customers told me he got Free card with this code, no charges debited yet.

You can also Download E-Age HDFC Form online - https://v1.hdfcbank.com/assets/pdf/eage_banking_change_of_address_form.pdf

Printed the PDF, filled, signed, dropped in my nearest HDFC ATM (or HDFC branch). You will get the physcial card within a week.

They did insist that I transfer at least ₹30000 to the account as initial funding and actually verified it before issuing the card which I had to collect from the branch almost 20-25 days later (15 working days but with many bank holidays in between).

I already told in my above comments, you need to deposit minimum 15k to apply for Union bank RuPay Platinum (or RuPay JCB Platinum) but ya maybe some branches told to deposit 30k or something but minimum 15k is enough to apply for RuPay Platinum. After card delivered you can also transfer your amount to other account.

Yes, but considering I can just walk away if they don't offer one without doing kyc. So it's worth giving a shot.

By the way, tell me about Junio card? Or was it something else? How does one apply, limit and cashback?
