Its a organic thread and will be kept updated as new information emerges. Banks are reluctant to issue rupay platinum card so in many banks you have to try multiple times. Best way to get is by calling customer care on call.

1. AU BANK-

For new customers- you will get Rupay platinum card by default on online digital account

For existing customers-

Apply for a RuPay Platinum Debit Card instantly by following these simple steps and enjoy several benefits:

Visit any branch: Head to your nearest branch and apply in person.
Call customer care: Alternatively, you can apply for a new card by calling customer care number 1800-1200-1200.

For new customers - You can get rupay platinum card as default by applying for farmers account online

3. ICICI BANK

Icic rupay platinum card can be only issued by customer care. Call them and tell them to issue card. If they reject tell them to take a service complaint request about this card. After that you will see virtual rupay Platinum card in i mobile app and you will receive physical card in post.
Then it is important step. Never set ATM pin for new card through imobile app or through atm. Only use that card for online transaction. For online transaction don’t need pin. If we generate pin then issuance fees will be debited and old card will be automatically blocked.

By this way you can use your existing visa card plus rupay platinum card. For salary accounts both cards will be free

Go to bank account section in call and select talk to phone banking officer and request

Charges- 150+18% gst as per phone banking officer...



4. AXIS BANK-

For new customers - Axis republic salary account and easy access salary account holders will get this card by default.

For existing customers- you can either upgrade online in netbanking or call customer care for issuance on

Not everyone gets option to upgrade in netbanking so you can call customer care.

Apply for 101 priority account through this link with adhaar kyc. It only take 5 minutes. Virtual card can be viewed on their app. This account has 25k minimum balance. Don’t worry about it. Intial funding no need. It will automatically close after 1 year if we don’t do kyc. So 1 year we can loot amazon. 100*12= 1200 rs profit

Equitas bank issue RuPay Platinum card & Zero balance account:

SBI doesn't give platinum easily, I've tried. They sent me Indian oil normal rupay card.

I don't want to spend day in SBI and end up with nothing to show. You can check your netbanking, there if you see plat option apply from there only. Going to branch of SBI is not worth the trouble.

Actually a more easy way for me is to open a/c's in bob and nsdl for my wife too, but after AU and Akudo thing where she found out that we suddenly had imaginary daughter named Isha, she is awfully suspicious of my activities. I'm fairly certain she think she married a fraudster now

Better take akudo if you have pos or fuel spends of upto 2000 rs per month..... It will give 10% back utp 200 per month... Also 30% back on food and grocery upto 300 per month and lot more offers....

I am having 3 virtual kids.... 2 in junio and 1 on akudo....

And icing on cake is... Junio card works on all offers of kredit bee card... And akudo cards works on all offers of uni card....

They have same bins.... Also lazy pay card works on all offers of slice card

Union bank easily issue RuPay Platinum debit card from branch. Just deposit minimum 15k in your account (We just want to make sure online zero balance account is eligible or not and he told me he got RuPay Platinum, it means Union bank online account is eligible).

Other apply process i already knew because i am union bank account holder.

Gives 3% on pos... If you book railway tickets.... It gives 10% or 10% on recharge via official website or apps of telecom operators..or 10% on movies on bms or paytm. For offline currently akudo is better...

I just checked.... Process for normal savings account.... There is option to deselect debit card while applying.... The debit card with normal savings account is free..


So I think its a much better bet.... You can also deselect sms alerts also....

"Deselect" options were there for digital a/c too. I only clicked on internet banking and ATM/Debit transactions. Other are deselected. Problem is selecting or getting debit card that we want. In either case if want plat it requires deposit of 15k-30k is what I'm getting so far.

I think "Cash deposit" there means going to branch and depositing the money directly, I really doubt in digital a/c there would be charges for depositing money through UPI or NEFT/IMPS.

Even if there are it would be negligible. EIther way, its fine I guess.

Yes... On branch cash deposit there are charges on anything above 500rs....and always better to go for normal savings account if it can be opened online............

Open a regular savings account... In any rural branch of city... Mab only 2000 rs.... You can get the card... I also did same.... And you won't get this card in mine account... That is only eligible for two cards... Mine and mine plus debit card

You have to go to branch and open regular savings account... If they dont do... Then complaint on twitter.. Then they will open... I also did the same....


Also ask that if there is offer going on silver account variant... That deposit 50k cheque and get zero mab account.... Many icici branch offer this account facility too.... You can get silver privlge banking at zero mab....

Probably limited time thing, I've seen similar campaigns for other cards, even non-rupays.
