[Restored now] Debit card option removed from HDFC billpay??

I just saw that Debit card option removed from HDFC billpay, is this temporary glitch?

Also, I am able to see HDFC credit card under new card add option.

UPDATE 25.09 1AM: Indeed it was a glitch, restored now.... Relief😅

Has HDFC recently hired people from the Axis Bank's credit underwriting team or what? Earlier they used to approve/reject applications with a coin toss — now they will decide whether to add or remove the debit card payment with a coin toss. Head aaya toh debit card option hatao; tail aaya toh wapis add karo. 😂

My worst banking experience, so far, in net banking area. Small banks like DBS n RBL (both since 16/08/2016) are much more stable n dependable than this much-hyped HDFC. Sorry to say this.

They issue CC, don't despatch it, after 3 weeks realise that they approved it blindly, doesn't inform, respond or rectify, UPI-ID scored up n vanishes into thin air, doesn't get restored, error not understood by those to whom it is escalated, menus n options vanish, no advance intimation of experimenting with such stupid changes...

Are they running a charity thing or what?

Planning to leave their faulty system, notwithstanding the CB on DC.

Literally...

Hdfc is doing non-sense now...

If they wanna give benefits with Debit card via bill pay...then they should keep it ...

If dont what is that drama of removing and adding... truely nonsense....

Even hdfc dont show exactly how many points we got for particular transactions neither on CC or DC....Kisne no. 1 bank bnaaya bhai ?

I did cc payment on freecharge via platinum dc, not received points. Merchant name was like FREECHARGE TECHNO🥴

People who have done bill paytment on sunday and monday please let me know if you have got 1% cashback

I paid CC bill yesterday using DC in old UI netbanking. Not yet received the cashback points.

Generally it takes 2 days for me to get cashback. I redeem it the third day and 4th day it gets credited in account. Overall it takes the same time for payment to reflect in the Axis credit card system. Let us see this time.
