Retail Spends on Axis Select

CVR

TF Ace
VIP Lounge
Axis Select gives 10 reward points for 200 spent on normal spends but in retail spends they give 20 reward points.

But there is no clarity on what all is categorised as retail spends, all offline spends or only certain categories of offline spends? I check with customer care few times but not getting convincing answer.

Has anyone who holds Axis Select ever got 20 per 200 points on any spends? If yes, can you tell which spends?

retail spend means any retail stores or departmental stores like lifestyle, shopper stop, etc. Plus you also get on 20RP/200 on amazon. Tried & tested!!
amazon 😳? they clearly told me offline spends.. let me try with one amazon transaction

u mean if buy phone or tv from croma etc i will get 20rp? i was thinking it is only for apparel or department retail stores and not grocery or electronics..

Croma should also give but I'm not sure about croma but you get on amazon..

Where can we see points for Axis Credit card similar to above image?

I started using Axis card last week. Can't see any points in Axis mobile app as well as edge reward portal.

Tried one transaction on Amazon. Lets c how many points I get. In otp sms merchant name came as Amazon Pay which i think is also in your image.
Amazon via Gyftr will give better rewards 3X - 5X

Select is a worthless card tbh. They have just designed this card to provide as LTF for Burgundy customers. I did get 2X RPs on Amazon spend. Also FYI, they do not consider offline POS spends at restaurants as retail spends. Those are considered in dinning.
Tbh this is more of a lifestyle card rather than rewarding

I think restaurants spends should not be considered as retail spends as retails spends are mostly on products and services that you avail using your card

i hold axis select and it is more of a usage specific card.

i have high spends on swiggy and big basket and also use its monthly BOGO offer. so i use this card only for these 3 spends plus some easy diner discounts.

it comes with priority pass and free golf lessons too which i do not use at all.

but the above mentioned 3 benefits alone make it worth it for me.

Just a term they use for marketing gimmick. There are even better cards than Select. Only good use I've found so far is the Swiggy and BigBasket discounts.
agreed.. use it rarely only since i have magnus.. mostly for swiggy but for some offline spends this can give 20 points vs 12 in magnus.. also useful for lounge access if other people who don’t have lounge access travelling along.. anyways it is ltf..

can be. I use this mostly for golf purchases & this year alone I use this for 6 golf classes + 1 priority access which alone would have costed me close to 18-20K so its worth for me. Plus I take advantage of axis offers from time to time

@Dr. Drake Can you share Golf experience. I have golf access in couple of cards but have never used it.

How to book?
Are there any charges/cost associated?
Do you get golf kit complimentary or do you need to pay? If pay, how much is it roughly?
