Had my first run in with the infamous customer care team of SBI cards last week. I got charged 199/- + 35.8/- as fee on a hotel room booking of 1292/- on OYOrooms last week. Obviously, i didn't get 5% cashback on the main transaction either.
I raised a transaction dispute and sbi closed it in a day citing "query doesn't pertain to a transaction dispute, use appropriate channels". Whatever the hell that means. Anyway, i thought of reaching out to the nodal officer and i got a reply that wasn't even relevant to the query. I'm mentally exhausted with their UI, their customer support, this entire MCC related bs and am thinking of closing the card. What do you guys think?
