Pay directly via HDFC credit card portal if you do not hold HDFC savings account. If you hold account then pay via Netbanking. Payment will credit instantly.

If due date is near , Is instant settlement necessary? Doesn't banks consider the bill payment date only, even if they take 3-4 days to settle. And there is Grace period of 2-3 days also, right?

Sometimes peace of mind has more importance than to get miniature cashbacks. First priority should always be to pay the credit card bill on time within the prescribed due date and the best option to do so is to pay directly via respective bank's own portal.

Usually some apps take time to settle the payment but your date of payment will be considered in the statement.

You are absolutely right. Your payment date will be considered in the statement. Atleast I can confirm the same for Axis Bank CC and as you mentioned there's a 3 days Grace period as well

Ideally yes. But I usually settle it 1-2 days before due date. Never faced any issues or late payment charges till date

I would not say to pay the bill as soon as it gets generated but the best practice is to pay the bill within 5-7 days from the due date.

I know it's not a good habit and I don't recommend anyone doing so. My due date for axis was on 30th dec, I paid my dues today. Done it previously also, no issues.

Rupay CC se kisi ka Coupl load ho raha kya ?? Card and Bank UPI methods are fine but my Rupay CC load failed in 4 accounts, 4 times debited successfully !!
Ab naa jaane yeh refund kab tak aayega !!
Wallet load in processing hai 🥹
Kotak Rupay CC doesn’t allow more than 5k,
ICICI Coral CC is saying limit reached without even any txn in past 3-4 days ,
Neu Infinity se successfully debit ho raha but Coupl load nahi ho paa raha !!

AFAIK sirf bill payment down hai . Wallet load ho raha via all payment method except Rupay CC (>5k) . Tried 100 via Rupay CC , went smoothly
