Just a word of caution for anyone who is planning to open a account online.

DO NOT OPEN ACCOUNT ONLINE. Even after Vkyc, you will still need to visit bank and do physical kyc and whats worse is the bank employee will not agree to do your kyc easily unless they visit your home address first.

This entire process is a waste of time. Better option is to just to bank directly and open an account, will take 15 mins max for most PSU banks

One of my relatives requested and got a Select dc in BoB.
But I see in their BoB world app, two DCs are active, one is Rupay platinum (old one) and new one (rupay select).
Is it possible to use both at the same time?
I helped them set the pin on the new Select DC.
Should we do anything else to activate the new Select DC?
Please help.

Which account variant?

I am trying to get Rupay Select with BOB. I spoke with my friend at the branch but I was told that the option is not visible, there is an option for Rupay and via that Rupay Platinum got issued.

Any particular code or value that needs to be selected for Rupay Select.

Tell them to open the account without debit card. Once account is opened then you can request for Select via mobile app

I did, my friend at the branch also said that only 2 Rupay options are visible on the system. My account is in a remote location and they are not really aware of the Rupay Select. Do I need to upgrade the account variant for the option to show up?
if not available at branch also, then you need to upgrade account.

My relative now has two Debit cards. One is Rupay platinum and the recently requested Rupay Select debit card.
How to cancel only the rupay platinum debit card in the app?
