Salary Account Opening Suggestions?

theboogeyman

TF Select
Hi i am switching jobs and have got a annual salary of 42LPA Fixed. My org has tie up with HSBC and Axis, but they have also given option to choose any bank. What are the best offering rn
HSBC am getting normal salary with upgrade to premier if I get 3lpm net. Now it's 2.66-2.7
Axis is Burgundy with normal burgundy features
I was thinking of HDFC too but they said for Infinia doesn't matter if you hold salary account or not eligibility is 2.75 LPM net and even if i provide other bank's statement and open a savings account with them later they can process Infinia.
What's your all take.

Axis Salary Burgundy would have been great provided the chances of getting LTF m4b but they won't offer LTF m4b now. HSBC premier may look lucrative given Infinia upcoming devaluation if any.
You will get Infinia after some jhanjat, try to go on some dates with the BM.
If you are not a fan of CC then go for a bank which would give you the best interest (personal/home/FD etc) in future.
In such a scenario, it wouldn't matter much because in the end you can open various savings accounts (premium 0mab) with banks nowadays or just with some funds (consider your emergency fund).
Think and let us know your expectations from a bank.

Just got a call from hsbc premier is not possible. They are saying 3Lpm net. Fml. So what are my options now
Check with corporate RM once again if this was from bank.
Corporate RMs are usually assigned to companies and you can get their info either from colleagues or HR.

Check with Axis corporate RM if Atlas can be given. Atlas is LTF for some corporate tie-ups and not all, so confirm.
HSBC negotiation is also possible i think.

However, as you mentioned that you can get salary into any bank, assuming tie-up is present in most banks you can connect with others too.

Check with ICICI for Emeralde metal private LTF. They would deny, but who knows, nothing wrong in trying.
HDFC would only give Regalia Gold LTF, which is still good card.

So tie up is with HSBC and axis only. Axis is offering burgundy. I will talk to their RM tomorrow. And for hsbc i was talking to my RM itself. He said he will try to get premier but he came back with a negative response. And unfortunately I don't see my monthly net crossing 3L atleast for a year or so.

For other banks it's not a tie up it's the general savings to salary account conversion.

Axis brochure has a LTF select with burgundy debit card. Atlas I will ask tomorrow.

Do not limit yourself to RM, connect with BM. You have upper hand here.

If Atlas LTF is not given, i would suggest not to go with Axis .

I hope HSBC BM negotiates. If they do not, tell about your CTC and try to reason.

Nope LTF Atlas they arent providing anymore. Just saying LTF Select, burgundy dc. Both are shit
I have Burgundy salary account opened 6 month back now planning to close it , please let me know if you find any good alternatives bank to open salary account. and yeah both Select CC and Burgundy DC are useless

Have hdfc and icici as options both have to go via savings route route as my company doesn't have tie up. Leaning towards icici as already have long relationship with them as normal savings and. Getting hdfc cc doesn't need salary account or has any preference so stick with icici so I might get emeralde private.

Idk there's not much good offering in any space

okay even i will look for icici now and yeah true , openinf salary account with HDFC does not ensure INFINIA. What about IDFC Wealth?

Idfc wealth is shit tier than select. Idfc all cc portfolio is worse. Their fd rates are good and app is good but ya overall icici is looking promising for me. I will get Infinia even if I get more than 2.75 net in any bank

Go for HDFC bank, get imperia status, you get few added benefits on imperia account, plus it also adds few points for your infinia eligilibily.
