Hello Everyone,

Can anyone share their experience with SBI Air India Signature card? Its not very popular card bt post Air India flying return revamp it looks good to me.

Fees for first year is 4999 + GST which gives you 20000 points.

Mumbai Bangalore flight needs 4000 points

So 5 flights in 6k seems good deal plus some hope that Air India will be working on improving this program

Read somewhere in the forum that, person need to book one paid ticket to redeem points for self. Is it true?

I already have Air India account and traveled in Air India via transferring points to Air India account from Axis Atlas Edge mile portal. Does this count?

See, ideally for economy redemptions on air india domestically, 1 FR point i value at 1 rupee, therefore it is a very good option.
It also offers 30% return on air india spends for self and 10% when booking for others. This card after the air india revamp is a steal and will in the coming days def be devalued so get it quick for all your family for the welcome bonus

I got a message saying that from July 15,2024, govt spends won't get miles. The problem is that SBI cards does not bother to mention which card it applies to - I have both SBI Air India signature, and SBI Irctc premier. Could comeone with Air India sginature card confirm if you've got the email?

Hi Guys,

I came to know that we have to first buy own paid ticket and then we can buy tickets via points.
I have booked some flights from Air india via transferring points from Axis to Air India.
Will that count?

I had another question, and I posted on another thread - do we get points for fuel transactions? Haven't found anything which says that fuel isn't included, but would be glad if anyone could confirm. I'll find out in my next statement anyway, but would be helpful if anyone could confirm.

But it's a very complicated card
used your referral. Lets see if it gets approved 🙂

Are they approving this card now?
I have a cashback card with 2.7L limit, thinking of applying for this card before the Vistara merger to make sure that I avail myself of the joining benefits.
20K points easily worth morethan 10K-12K depending on route and availability.
The only thing that is stopping me is my Atlas card, The earning rate is almost the same as the Air India card 4 Miles for 100 but I need another SBI card apart from a Cashback card.

Yes they are. The process is slightly irritating and lengthy (typical of SBI), but I applied for this card on 28th and everything on the process side got over yesterday (13 days). The card delivery will take another 4-5 days.
