SBI card blocked - need help

My SBI cashback card is blocked since 30th August.
Customer care created a complaint request, due date was today i.e. 11th sept but no resolution yet
Emailed nodal officer as well but response was lamee and they gave further resolution date of 14th September.

Need help please, what shall i do, tried calling the regional(Bengaluru) RBI ombudsman, that mf is picking up the call but then disconnects as soon as I say hello.

Everytime they say wait till resolution day. I called just now and they said wait till the end of today, card are sometimes activated even at the last minute.
Such shitty their customer support is ffs.
Can i take this up with the RBI for mental agony?

Called them today and they unblocked instantly, looks like they only work on the last fuckin day

Usually they provide option to unblock from the mobile app but today it gave an error. CC have taken reactivation request and said it will be unblocked within 48 hours and 25th Sep is the last date given.

They have unblocked my card account. The issue was I changed my mobile number before I made the transaction which made it suspicious. They asked me to confirm the mobile number change through registered email id after which they unblocked the account.

Even my sister's card got blocked. Did 6 trxns on maximize. They called or only 3-4 trxns, Primary and add on cards were used. My sister got 2 IVR calls, she confirmed the trxns, also got app notification to verify trxns, she did that and then I opened sbicard.com with her permission and this suspicious verify tranx popup is there too, I click on verify and then the whole site freezes. My sister opens app and every time it keeps asking to verify even though she has done it.

Btw the issue isn't card now, as card works for trxns, no problems but site and app keeps giving verify suspicious trxn popup, any solution to this? We talked to SBI CC, and they said wait for 1-2 days it will stop doing that. Did anyone else also face this issue?

Are you using an SBI Card for the first time? These kinds of issues happen with a new SBI Card.

Just chill, it will happen a maximum of 3 times and then stop.

Old SBI Cards and regular users don’t face any issues.

But yeah, if you haven’t used the SBI Card for a long time or have done it 6 times or more, this issue might happen in the future too.

It’s not a big deal—just unblock it, use it and chill.

what u mean by 3 times? and this is my sister's CB card, I am add on on it.

I myself have only SBI SIMPLYCLICK card from 6 years and never faced such issue. I understand trxns decline and automated call/text is normal, but even after doing it still website/app creating issue is the 1st time I have seen.

Unblock and use. It's no big deal, it's normal—just SBI Card's drama.
