I need some info.. my SBI credit card got delivered recently.. while filling the form the agent made a mistake in my email address..

I have setup login for the card both through website & app.. I am unable to change the email Id..

Can someone guide how can I do the same..

I was also having same problem in July I got my sbi simply save credit card with limit of 72k and my email was entered wrong but mobile number was correct..

After many times trying to correct the email I tried but after October I was successful in change through OTP mode through app ..

You have to wait for atleast 3 months successful bill generation after this you can update your email id through application.

Iska kuch solution Mila ? 3 months wait karna hi padenga kya ?
Yup can confirm that its 3 months or more.

I was pulling my hair with this issue for quite a while. They somehow took my office email address even when I had used my personal email while registering. Since I was about to leave that company, I would lose access to that email. I tried a tonne of things - app, website, email, customer support, nodal officer too (they didn't even reply to this). Not one these communication channels told me that I had to wait certain months before changing 🤦‍♂️. I had finally given up after getting "can't change due to internal policy everywhere".

I then yesterday had to speak with customer care for a billing issue and also asked if he could change it. He then told me to write an email to "kyc@sbicard.com". Guess what! that email address does not exist 🙃.

I then found this thread while searching for their support email and checked the app and viola! it worked this time 😀

When I had tried it for the first time it was about a month after I got it, now its been about 6 months.

I successfully changed my SBI Card contact number after 2 months. Here's what happened -

1. You have to wait minimum 30 days as per RBI Policy.

2. Now even after 30 days you won't able to change anything via app. You will have to send email to contactchange@sbicard.com with self attested KYC (Anything other than PAN).

3. Now, they are bunch of dickheads. So you will have a rough time doing this process via email. Keep in mind these points - - -

A) Send email to all the below emails -
> contactchange@sbicard.com
> customercare@sbicard.com
> customerservicehead@sbicard.com
> nodalofficer@sbicard.com
> principalnodalofficer@sbicard.com

B) Add the below documents -
> Self Attested Aadhaar Xerox
> Digital Copy of Aadhaar (It is important as they scan the QR code on your Aadhar. If they can't scan it, they will say "incorrect kyc" and close your request). And they mentioned "masked aadhar". So, try to provide that and unlock the PDF if it's password protected.
> Any other KYC Documents (except PAN) xerox with self attested.
> A handwritten letter mentioning the details to be changed and your credit card number. Also mention documents attached here. Scan the letter and attach with email.

If everything goes well they will probably do the contact number change successfully.

In my case, I had to lodge a complaint to RBI Ombudsman. I had the same problem with scanning the Aadhaar QR. But those dickheads never mentioned it until I complained to RBI. After that I sent them self attested Aadhar along with digital copy of my Aadhar (preferably masked aadhar).

As they mentioned any KYC. Try sending one extra KYC document (Not PAN).

If you are lucky they may successfully proceed.

I changed through SBIcard app after 90 days without any documents and email requests.
