REVISION OF BENEFITS ON CASHBACK SBI CARD:

With effect from 01 May 2023, following changes will be applicable on your CASHBACK SBI Card:

A. Below categories will not be eligible for Cashback benefit, apart from existing exclusions:

Jewelry	5051, 5094, 5944, 7631
School & Educational Services	5111, 5192, 5942, 5943, 8211, 8220, 8241, 8244, 8249, 8299, 8351
Utilities	4814, 4900, 9399, 4816, 4899
Insurance Services	5960, 6300, 6381
Card, Gift, Novelty & Souvenir Shops	5947
Member Financial Institution/Quasi Cash	6011, 6012, 6051
Railways	4011, 4112

The Merchant Category Codes are defined by the Networks and are subjected to change basis their discretion and such changes shall be implemented basis communication from the Networks without any requirement for intimation/information to the customers.

B. Maximum Cashback that can be earned on online & offline spends in a statement cycle will be capped at `5000.

C. Complimentary Domestic Airport Lounge benefit will be discontinued.

Paytm also works for 5% buy payment gateway we have to check and put otp

What's the MCC of QWIKCILVER SOLUTIONS, does it come under devaulation?

So the MCC is 6540 & it gives 0% even now, any way to get 5% cashback as it was a Gift voucher purchase.

Use Magicpin.
Magicpin is the only Option if you do not want to pay Convenience fee for Apay Vouchers after 1st May.

Check different Magicpin Accounts of friends and Family, you may get option other than UPI for Apay Vouchers in Magicpin.

For vouchers other than Apay and ASV, Direct credit card payment option is already Available in Magicpin

Since MCC is 6540-Wallet load, SBI will never give 5%.

Tncs clearly mention that Cashback will be credited solely on the basis of MCC received from Card Networks/Merchant

Which PG did you use? Paytm or PayU? Even I purchased PhonePe GC but thankfully just 1.5k. Used PayU gateway i think.

Purchase the required amount Amazon gift cards, add to Amazon pay balance and pay your insurance on Amazon. Purchase them before 30 April. We don't know yet if we will get 5% cashback on gift card purchase after 30 April.

You can purchase 10k gift card at a time till 30k on Amazon.
on gyftr I think still you can purchase 10k amazon gift card
Use other credit cards like if you have Millennia to purchase gift cards but using other Amazon account or use gyftr using other mobile number to purchase more.
There are other platforms as well where you can buy amazon gift cards.
