REVISION OF BENEFITS ON CASHBACK SBI CARD:

With effect from 01 May 2023, following changes will be applicable on your CASHBACK SBI Card:

A. Below categories will not be eligible for Cashback benefit, apart from existing exclusions:

School & Educational Services	5111, 5192, 5942, 5943, 8211, 8220, 8241, 8244, 8249, 8299, 8351
Utilities	4814, 4900, 9399, 4816, 4899
Insurance Services	5960, 6300, 6381
Card, Gift, Novelty & Souvenir Shops	5947
Member Financial Institution/Quasi Cash	6011, 6012, 6051
Railways	4011, 4112

The Merchant Category Codes are defined by the Networks and are subjected to change basis their discretion and such changes shall be implemented basis communication from the Networks without any requirement for intimation/information to the customers.

B. Maximum Cashback that can be earned on online & offline spends in a statement cycle will be capped at `5000.

C. Complimentary Domestic Airport Lounge benefit will be discontinued.

anybody tried for annual fee waiver with sbi?

I am going to cancel this card if the fee isn't reversed. The annual fee is due in early sept. Should I cancel my card before the fee is applied? or after?

If I ask them to cancel after the fee is applied, will they reverse the annual fee?

Cashback card se itna cashback nahi nikla kya jitni card ki annual charges hai. Jo card cancel kar rahe ho . Waise sept me bill generation se pahle req dala to may be fee wave karde
Think again before cancellation req.

SBI cc said the request for waiver can only be raised after the fee is applied. If I wait until then. they may not reverse the fee. I'll be stuck with paying 1180 for a card I want to cancel.

What are the rules regarding annual fee reversal if a card is cancelled immediately after fee is applied?

I asked them to remove one duplicate enquiry from my CIBIL. After multiple follow ups for two months they removed all old enquiries of HDFC Bank except one enquiry which was for TATA NEU card.

Hdfc made multiple enquiries on my cc application as well and to my surprise they removed them quite easily.

I don't use SBI CB card for this..
I use Grabdeals usign Aixs...
7%+5%( duringa monthly sale period) +1%(rewards for my Previlige Card) = ~13% .. This the best deal iI have know on Swiggy vouchers.. Loaded up 20K in recent sale period (June 21- 26)
