SBI Cashback - International Transactions in INR not working. Int'l TXNs are enabled in the Manage card page.

I am trying to buy a game from Epic games.

I used my SBI CB card on there before coz its saved in my Epic games account.

But when I try to the transaction, I get this message.

Dear SBI Cardholder, Txn of Rs.6,230.90 on Card ending with XXXX at EPCEPICGAMESSTORE on 19-11-25 has been declined. Pls call at 18601801290/39020202 for details.

I have International enabled, Online.
I also enabled PoS+Tap&Pay just to try again.
They are enabled.

But I still get the message. I dont understand It worked before but it aint working now. 🙁

I don't see anything in the Card Tokens section either.

What to do?

Just try to disable and enable it again. It must work.

I tried that, it was saved before so I removed it from saved and then entered fresh and still the same. Got the same Declined message

I will disable intl online for tonight, enable it tomorrow and try again 😔

Did you call on the number cited in the message you recieved ??
If not, please call them first and ask for the reason

may be due to security reasons sbicard blocked those transactions.. i also used sbi cb card on epic store,steam,ubisoft store as well.

I called them twice after this post, after getting the declined SMS both times they tell me wait 2 hrs and do the transaction and when I do it they told me "Merchant Payment Network" declined your Epic games transaction. Idk wtf that means lol.

I also tried with the Addon card number I had, made sure intl txns were enabled on that too but even that was declined. Same error, this card wasn't saved in Epic store if that matters.



@Arnal07 I asked them if they blocked any sort of transactions and they said, Nope, International txns are enabled and nothing is blocked from SBI side. :|

I done two international transactions and it was smooth. First time it got declined by saying that "international transactions not enabled" . Received the same via WhatsApp. Enabled it. Transaction was successful

Intl txns are working I bought from jetbrains a week ago, the issue is with this specific merchant I guess but even on epic I bought games a while back on sbi cb and got cashback. But it's not working now 🙁

@SSV got this today, called them again, this was an OTP stripe transaction. Transaction declined after entering otp.

The dude said this is an unsecure/unsafe merchant, same for epic games and that these merchants are all blocked on all SBI cards
