Sbi cashback rejected for over leverage reason

Hi
Recently my sbi Cashback card application rejected due to over leverage as per customer care.
Currently my total limit is 47lakhs with 11 cards(11years credit history )and net of 1.21L/month.
So does anyone how much I need to bring down the credit limit.
Is bringing down the credit limit is enough or I need to close some cards too? Like how many?
Pls share your opinion.
