Hey everyone,
I’m facing a strange issue with my SBI credit card. The card is active, and I’m using it regularly, but my CIBIL report incorrectly shows it as "Closed."
# Steps I’ve Taken So Far:
✅ Contacted CIBIL customer care – They said they are just an information-collecting agency and that the bank is responsible.
✅ Checked the CIBIL dispute form – There’s no specific option for this issue.
✅ Reached out to SBI Card customer care – They said they can’t access my CIBIL report and advised me to visit my branch.
✅ Visited my home branch – They had never seen this issue before and directed me to the head branch in my city.
✅ Emailed the head branch – I sent them my CIBIL report, a screenshot of the issue, and my latest transaction history as proof that my card is active.
Has anyone faced a similar issue before? What’s the best way to escalate this if the head branch doesn’t resolve it? Should I file a formal complaint with SBI or approach the RBI Ombudsman?
Any advice would be really helpful. Thanks in advance!
