SBI credit card blocked for 22 days

In my case, I also changed my number to a JIO number as it was getting expensive to reach their customer support team each time. I have raised a complaint to RBI, lets see now.

Btw, how much time did it took for you to get unblocked after the RBI complaint ?

Just a though , why don't you mark the card as stolen and apply a replacement , pretty sure replace card will be unblocked

Are there any charges for card replacement?

I checked on SBI website; it says b/w 100- 250 are the charges. Not sure if they will unblock the account after the card replacement

I think you can try , the charges are not that much

In some old discussion here i am told that SBI did not charge them any charges for replacement card. One of them just blocked the card and after few days received call from bank if he need replacement card and he got it later.

If you don't receive the unblock call then contact the customer care they will unblock it instantly

If it's after 8PM then there is no IVR service that unblocks the card.

I didn't get the callback. Their IVR service is also useless in this regard.

I have my DND on but I get calls from customer care executives if I raise a request on twitter so I'm not sure if this is the problem.

I, too have received IVR calls after 8 PM; timings are not an issue I think. The issue is that sometime SBI doesn't even send any IVR calls

Update : I finally managed to unblock the card. I think complaining to RBI helped, as on the last email SBI mentioned that they have received my request from RBI as well. I complained to RBI 10 days back

I didn't get the callback. Their IVR service is also useless in this regard.

They even call twice if no inputs are provided for first call, that too instantly

I went to update phone number for the add on card and the main card's phone number got changed. Then, I tried to transact using the main card on Gyftr on 22 December. Main card (cashback) got blocked. Did not receive any phone call. Called customer support next day and they said that I had changed the phone number, so they couldn't unblock it. It's still blocked even after multiple escalations.

Hello everyone

I wanted to get advice from my fellow Credit card enthusiasts. My SBI cashback credit card was blocked on Dec 12 after I tried to make a transaction on the SBI YONO website. Ever since I have tried contacting SBI support via email/call / Zonal officers / Customer service heads but whenever I connect to them they say it will be unblocked in 3-4 days, but that never happens.

I want to know how to fix this problem, and how I complain about SBI so that they actually listen and solve my problem. Please advice.
