SBI Credit Card Limit Decreased

You probably shouldn't be having such high utilization - do you normally have close to 49k bill or was it a one-off case? But for an immediate solution, you need ask SBICard!

SBI is well known for Limit decrements and usually they review the credit profiles and change limit accordingly
In this situation u may reach out to SBI Card cc team but I don't think u get any resolution from them, Their generic reply"this is based on our internal policy and assessment"

They told me "sir due to security reasons, no delay in payment from side, it's done by our backend team "

It depends on how many cards u have and total credit limit on all ur cards
Most likely there won't be any huge impact on ur credit score unless u have very limited cards with low limits

Most probably not unless you are having very few cards with high usage and this card with very high limit and less use ( to keep overall usage lesser).
RBL reduced my limit from 3L to 30k because of non usage(which I closed ultimately)and SBI from 3L to 2L (50k avg use).

Same thing happened to me today.. Last month i used around 60k using SBI Simply Click CC. Thats it. .Today i received sms stating that my credit limit reduced to 3.1L from 4.1L and cashlimit made to 50rs.. nonsense.. 🙄 😒

My transaction are genuine like i purchased a phone + air purifier + small items from Amazon +blinkit+ Flipkart still these as$hol... Decreased it, now i repayed whole amount at once and won't be using this card until they reverse there decision or they want they can close my card!

Mine also genuine only.. during diwali sale time i purchased tv and couple of electronic items in amazon ..

My limit got further decreased to 49k cash to 36 INR from 50 INR

But I would like to inform you that recently i applied for Paytm sbi cc, 2-3 days ago call came to me she told limit will get split Paytm -20k , old one 49k.

So I thought it was reduced because of the same

But today I called customer care they told me limit is decreased because of internal policies. I was like wtf!!!

Limit is decreased 2nd time consecutively 1st limit from 1L to 69k in last month now this.


Is anyone here jiske saath esha hua ho.

Now I want to close this sbi

Limit used 25k out of 69k (before limit reduction)
