1.) isn't the IDFC reward program on the customer I'd basis ?

2.) have you got 38k points or used simultaneously both debit cards in a single month ?

3.) Customer care agent once told me Reward points will be credited on customer I'd basis and maximum reward will depend account eligibility.

Welcome bonus is only for first txn and it should be Rs.1000 above which is clearly written in TnC applicable to both Physical Card and FirsTap.

Also if someone do less than Rs.1000, they lose their 2000 RPs. I also did Rs.2000 when got the Classic Card and then with Upgrade to Infinite Card after account upgrade with FDs, it also gave the same 4000 on first txn which was Rs.1100 only. RPs came in 7-8 days that time.

You can open online if you don't have problem using Aadhaar for eKYC or you can use any other PoI/PoA like Voter ID/Dl to open online and then visit branch to complete KYC. They give account and cust ID instantly before vKYC. In case vKYC fails just visit nearest branch to do it physically.

My aadhaar address is non serviceable. SO will have to visit a branch at my office location

Yes it is per Customer ID basis and also account variant basis. I already told that it is difficult to reach 30K also for me in a month then forget about whether 8K/30K on card spendings. For that I need to pay bills 3.4L with IDFC only which isn't possible as I pay 64K with Millennia. Also as RPs are of no use till Amazon GC comes, it make me refrain to go all out with IDFC card. Mostly we pay CC bills by splitting in 2 months with Millennia so it cover 1.28L.

I have used cards simultaneously and rewards are credited as per spending not which card used. Give you an example: I used Classic last month for 60K and then Inifnite for rest 1.15L. Points over 50K are made 10X per 100. Below that were given 3 RPs per 150 instead of 2. So it is customer ID/account variant based else for 10K (out of 60K) for using Classic, they would have credited 10 per 150 spent.

Same is with FirsTap card. If you use it after 50K it will give you 10X. Before that also you get Select benefit of 3 Points per 150.

IDFC Clearly states,

2X points for every Rs. 150 spent via debit card all online purchases
3X points for FIRST Select, 4X points for FIRST Wealth and 6X points for FIRST Private

Here they never mentioned Card Variant like Classic, Infinite, Platinum, Signature etc.

A monthly reward point accrual capping will be applicable based on user’s program membership. (w.e.f. 1st December 2023)

If you have branch at your address then just untick the My communication address is ame as Aadhaar option and change the communication address and use PIN code of that while opening online using website on desktop or mobile. They will give you account according to it.

Not personally as my txn was above 1K both times. I got your point. If you say so. But better follow 1K/1100 min. to be on safe side. 🙂

But technically you can read term as first txn of Rs.1000. So no matter whether you did say Rs.500 and 750 txn first/second time. The moment you do a txn 1000 they will give you. Or if they following cumulative pattern that I don't know.

The no use of word, "May" has changed the whole meaning.

Read it as: Also if someone do less than Rs.1000, they may lose their welcome RPs.

As TnC says first txns then we mostly take it as first txn using card. If they had categorically written that you will get it once you do Rs.1000 txn even when your other txns are less than that, you will get this 2000 pts. But then they have also mentioned that after July 2023 which means when IDFC started whole reward system, it made this welcome benefit for all card holders i.e old acc. holder too.

As @Abhishek012 told other people have got it so it clarifies that once you do Rs.1000 n above, you will get 2000 pts no matter what.

All in all to get it you need to do 1000 txn. If someone has got welcome bonus of 2000/4000/8000/20000 below that then this TnC has no meaning at all.
