SBI Rewardz: Upto 5X*/10X* RP under October Carnival Campaign

@Buttman 10L yearly is not per card based but PAN based. Reporting is consolidated now a days. FY 23-24, a friend working for LIC had ~8L and 6.5L for other bank and he was using for his CC insurance payments for clients for new policies and renewals and clients mostly paid in cash. Received ITR notice and was fined which was later challenged and only last month he was cleared of it. Our CIBIL data is enough to calculate CC spends. But still, not everyone receives a notice.

Just remember use your cards within limits. I spread spend between my card and family cards and keep track that cumulatively all my cards don't cross 10L. Even if you are not spending 10L per card, it is getting reported although not showing in AIS. In future they will all show up when it is integrated and annual CC spends will appear there even if it is 1L or 50K. Work in progress.....

Update: Borthday Bonus For Oct'24 has been credited yesterday night after 11:30PM.

In the birthday account I used (family person), received 2348 pts. 1174 were normal + 1174 were VDC bonus. Both doubled. Now Wait till Dec 10, 2024 for 4696 (1174x4) more. Total will be 9396. I kept it 604 pts lower so as to check whether 1L spend of 1000 pts credits fully or 604 pts only. If it credits completely then we will know it is not part of 10K per month max.

Damn, so:

- For virtual DC, it’s 1x base + 1x bonus + 4x accelerated + 2x birthday... that’s like 2% lol.

- For physical DC, it’s 1.5% (if it’s your birthday month).

Thanks for the detailed reply. Seems like I gotta switch to plain old cash and UPI for the remainder of this year as total cc spends is definitely over 20 lakhs.

I have rupay jcb platinum how much X I’ll be getting
Do a min. Rs.200 txn or in multiples of 200 and wait 2-5 days for points to be credited. You can check pts either in YONO App under Rewardz section or you can register on https://rewardz.sbi and see your points there. Currently Platinum cards offering 2X Pts. For Rs.200 txn you get 2 Pts but with Platinum you get 2X i.e 4 pts per 200. This info. is from SBI but as mostly here having normal accounts and cards, we don't really know. Only you can check yourself and shre your experience here. I have Rupay platinum and used it many times but it offer only 2 pts per 200. So we are using Virtual Debit card instead which you can generate on SBI YONO App or SBI Netbanking.

You asked on which site to use it. You can use your card anywhere online or offline and you will receive normal 1X pts within 2-3 days and accelerated rewards 4X more will be credited till Dec 10 max. although psting date is Nov 30.

Today i,e Nov 2 is last day of the campaign. From tomorrow you will get normal pts i,e 2 Pts per 200. SBI runs Campaign every month. Sometimes it is 2X, 5X or even 10X with few partners. Here most are using it to pay CC bills on SBI Unipay and wherever you can use DC to pay cc bills.
