But ₹12000 paid on 23rd July fetched points.

Ok. Bro. Payments made before and after that transaction got reward points. Thats why I was thinking of raising a ticket. Anyway the entry shown in netbanking “by debit card OTHPG” so I think its fine even if we raise ticket, but will wait for 1 month

yes we can't use those points for anything. It will be locked there untill we reach some 10k points. (so as to buy something useful)
Basically those SBI reward points have become almost useless.
