Second Airtel Axis Bank Credit Card

I hold an Airtel Axis CC (Visa) since Nov 2022. Yesterday, while checking pre-approved card offers on Axis Mobile app, I saw the option to apply for Airtel Axis Mastercard Credit Card. I was baffled upon seeing it and thought that it could be a glitch as I already hold Airtel Axis CC.

I decided to chat with Axis Support to understand the possibility of holding the same card twice. They were clueless about it.

So, I went ahead with the application, with the thought that at most my old card will be closed or my application will not go through. But, to my surprise, I was able to submit the application and immediately received approval. Right now, I can see TWO Airtel Axis CC in Axis Mobile (Open) app.

I am curious to know if anyone else has been able to hold the same card twice from the same account/mobile number.

FYI, this will be my third Axis CC. I had two prior to applying this one -
1. Airtel Axis CC (Visa)
2. Axis Ace CC

I asked Nodal about the possibility to hold two Airtel card of different variants. Replied as something different 🙄

pno declined my request of 2 same card with different network. They said u hv to close visa if u want rupay network same card. they even declined to change my existing visa card to rupay network. waiting for 30 days to file rbi complain as my card is due for renewal.

Why you want to wait for 30 days since you received the revert from bank end which is not satisfactory. U can now file the complaint if u want

No bro. U can file the complaint after receiving the resolution from bank which is not satisfactory. Else u have to wait 30 days until and unless the bank respond even after 30 days

can i complain abt flipkart card also. they said fk is not available in rupay varient which itself is breach of rbi circular.

I think Flipkart is not available in rupay. Only indian oil,myzone, neo , airtel i think

No, you can only get if the card is available on Rupay network. Many cards aren't available on Rupay. Amazon pay, Swiggy, hdfc Millennia, sbi cashback and more. You can't demand the bank to issue if it's not available on Rupay

After closing my 3rd card, i started to receive the pre-approved credit cards. But it does have any airtel rupay card. Should I get it in future? It's showing as 10 pre-approved cards for u and I can see only 8 there in app

But they will reject it for sure for holding the same card. Right?? What to do?? Have you got ur second card by applying the second as manually? @Abhishek012
