Second Airtel Axis Bank Credit Card

I hold an Airtel Axis CC (Visa) since Nov 2022. Yesterday, while checking pre-approved card offers on Axis Mobile app, I saw the option to apply for Airtel Axis Mastercard Credit Card. I was baffled upon seeing it and thought that it could be a glitch as I already hold Airtel Axis CC.

I decided to chat with Axis Support to understand the possibility of holding the same card twice. They were clueless about it.

So, I went ahead with the application, with the thought that at most my old card will be closed or my application will not go through. But, to my surprise, I was able to submit the application and immediately received approval. Right now, I can see TWO Airtel Axis CC in Axis Mobile (Open) app.

I am curious to know if anyone else has been able to hold the same card twice from the same account/mobile number.

FYI, this will be my third Axis CC. I had two prior to applying this one -
1. Airtel Axis CC (Visa)
2. Axis Ace CC

Bro, don't stress so much over a credit card. You already have one, so you're not really missing out.

Since you aren’t getting a pre-approved offer anyway, you can apply manually and try your luck. Even if it doesn’t get approved, you won’t lose much.

If they were going to offer it to you as pre-approved, you would’ve already seen it alongside the other cards in the pre-approved section. So, it doesn’t hurt to apply manually. It’ll likely be rejected, but there’s no harm in trying.

When I put "NO" i couldn't see any airtel rupay. But when I click "YES" I can see. Is there any problem if i select "YES"as existing customer if I have only credit card not having any account?

Yes, they do. While applying Ace pre-approved, I was shown around 10 options. Later, while applying for my second airtel card, I saw around 15-18.

Go ahead with YES then! Shouldn't be a deciding factor for Axis.

My Ace and 2nd Airtel card were 6-8 months apart.

I applied manually for Airtel rupay card now by opting "NO". Eligibility check initiated. Hope a rejection soon or I will get it if I am lucky enough 😂🤣🤣🤣

.most probably it will b rejected. In my case pno even tried manually bt it get rejected in dere system
