Share your experience of BOB Cards application process

Well I applied for on 7th February. Had a very tough time with documents. Had to send same documents multiple times via email.

Now office verification happened on 25th February. And today on 27th Feb, I got a call for home address verification. But no one came yet (as on 6:00pm).

I have been calling the guy multiple times but he doesn't bother picking up the call, neither reply my WhatsApp text.

Don't know if my application will progress further or not.

Bank of Baroda is literally full of sh*t.

For me they did both.
1 Office, agent came took photos of the site.
2 Home, I missed agent's call and they never bothered again.
Did you got your card without home verification?

I am in a same situation. The home verification agent told me that he was going come today. But he never showed up. I called him multiple times but he didn't pick up.

Is my application going to be declined?

Here's my full experience applying BOB Premier Card.

7th Feb - Applied Online with 95000/- PM salary details but provided my BOB Savings Account instead of Salary Account in SBI (well there's a purpose for this. But let's ignore this part. Lol!). I applied for VISA variant as I thought Rupay may have problems in availing sale offers and I'm not that excited about lounge access.

Now there have been a lot of back and forth with emails regarding "Incomplete Documents" and "Application on hold". I had to sent them my Aadhaar, PAN, Salary Slip, Bank Statement, SBI Credit Card Statement and also a clear photo of self. And I had to do it multiple times for next 3 weeks.

Also, I have lodged an NCH complaint regarding the same in meantime.

Fast forward few weeks -

25th Feb - Office verification happend. I wasn't there. But the agent was kind enough to not cause any problem.

27th Feb - Agent called for home verification but apparently he never showed up. But apparently he did it right.

6th March - Got message that my card is approved.

8th March - Got last 4 digits directly via SMS. Logged into BOBCARD. It is a BOB Premier Visa Credit Card with 75000/- limit. I'm little disappointed with the limit as I have provided Salary Slips of 95000/- monthly and SBI Cashback Card statement of 157000/- limit.

None the less, now I'm thinking about if it's LTF or not. It showd LTF (Slash on the Annual Fee) while applying but still want to confirm. Mailed them for the same and tried to call customer care but currently unable to connect due to high volume of calls.

So, overall it was pretty lengthy and frustrating process. And surely the worst experience regarding credit card application. My inbox is literally full of useless BOBCARD emails.

Edit: Yup! It's lifetime free. Confirmed from customer care via call.

Having LTF BOB card is a good deal, as they are basically for Merchant offers.
