should i upgrade from ltf diners millennia to chargeable diners privilege ?

Last year they changed my card from diners premium to diners millennia because the previous one was phased out.

It's a 5 year old credit card with 5.2 lakhs of limit.

From the last few days I've been getting messages to upgrade to diners privilege but it won't be LTF...so i don't see any advantage in upgrading because diners millennia offers better rewards.

would this block my way of getting DCB in future?

Also they have stopped increasing my limit, and didn't get any message in the last 2 years.

how much usage is required for dcb upgrade ? currently i spend around 4 4.5 lacs yearly on millennia and limit is 5.2.

based on my usage i find millennia more useful than privilege.

where should i send the mail ? i do hold sbi elite, icici apay and rubyx with much higher limit...i have salary account, trading account and car loan with hdfc..

i spoke with RM , he doesnt show any interest neither provide enough info...said system is showing i can get paid diners privilege....

can it be ltf upgrade to dcb ?

Shall I upgrade ?? It is worth spending 2500 on annual fee? As the waiver is for 3 lakh spend, and my usage would be 1.5-2 L.

Not at all. Diners Millenia is way better than Diners Privilege. And a paid one is definitely not recommended.

Well you can always customer care before they levy annual fee and try to get it removed

Please don't upgrade. After the recent devaluation, it is a worthless card compared to Diners Millenium Card. Keep using the card and raise your credit limit to 10 lacs and get Infinia

Btw how to get limit enhancement? Using it since a year now and have the same limit sanctioned at that time. Limit is 1.5L

Currently DCP appears to be the worst product from HDFC 🙂
Unfortunately I moved from Regalia LTF to DCP FYF, will possibly get an upgrade to DCB by EOY, if not, I will just close the card 🙂

Infinia will be given on 9L CL and 9L spends in last 6 months. Try for regalia gold / DCB first.
