Took chance of upgrade from LTF Moneyback to FYF Diners Millenia

So I somehow took chance of upgrading my LTF Moneyback card to FYF Diners Millenia card. Coz I was getting nothing out of Moneyback. Maybe from now on (I hope so) HDFC will give Limit increase or something.

I'll try this card for 1 free year. Let's see how it goes.

All thanks to @Rahul Gupta . He was also suffering from same Moneyback card and messaged HDFC Grievance cell to upgrade quoting high number of txns. I wrote same thing in the mail despite having almost zero txn from this card. I also asked them to convert it to LTF but they're unable to provide LTF. Neither him nor me.

First they simply wrote Millenia but then I asked them I'll upgrade only if you'll give me Diners Millenia. Today got the mail that diners card has been generated and will be dispatched shortly.

Why Diners's specifically?

I have an ongoing fight with Grievance team.

They solved it but took two months.

For the same issue, I had also raised complaint Multiple times in past.

Then I think I should ask for the comepensation for the time and resources I had wasted since card Issue date in raising multiple complaint that too for same issue.

I drafted an E-Mail , mentioning to settle the Matter over the E-Mail otherwise I will Esclate with BANKING OMBUDSMAN.

Response No-1.
-We are willing to Provide Rs.1000 gift voucher in this Matter. Give your confirmation for the same.

My reply- Rs 1000 is not a Fair Compensation for the time and Resources I had wasted since card Issuance date. Either Give me a Fair Compensation or I will definetly Esclate the matter with BANKING OMBUDSMAN.

Response No-2
Along with Rs.1000 gift Voucher, we are willing to upgrade your Existing card to LTF Millennia.
Again they ask to give Confirmation for the Same.

My Reply
Thanks for generous offer of Upgrade but as per usage My Existing card is best
If you really want to compensate me instead of Card Upgrade , increase my Limit to atleast 1lakh.

I will Accept 1000 Voucher and Limit Enhancement to atleast Rs. Lakh as a Fair Compensation otherwise I have no choice left other than Raising the matter with RBI BANKING OMBUDSMAN.

Now waiting for reply.

RBI fear is clearly visible in their reply.
So I took a chance.

My Existing Card is EasyEMI LTF which is far better than Millennia.
I only want Limit Enhancement to use it for big electronics purchases.
Last year at Diwali HDFC discounts and Cashbacks was available in every offline stores like Vijay Sales, Reliance Digital
etc,
Due to Low Limit I missed many good deals.

U get base 1 per and quarterly voucher of 1000 for 1 lack spend means for 1lac in quarter u get 2 per return. Now add this to smartbuy means 5+2=7% per return. And if on amazon or flipkart or other partner site then 5+1=6 %

Let's see. Giving a chance for just 1 year which is free. If found nothing good from HDFC side then I'll block this card. Usage will be minimal in this as well.

Already lost hope from their Preferred account and shifted my funds from this bank. CCs aren't that good as well when compared to present scenario of credit card market.

After reading your comment and recent Cashback Card Devaluation , I decided to Go with Millennia LTF.
I provided Confirmation on 31st March
And Today New Card details are reflecting in Netbanking.

In my case HDFC is too fast, May be the Fear of RBI BANKING OMBUDSMAN
