Simpl Pay Later Started levying charges on credit card repayments

Simpl has started charging a convenience fee on credit card repayments.
This was the usp of this credit line which allowed customers to get additional 15 days of interest free credit and points on bill repayments

Is PAN necessary for new Simpl acct now? Mine never asked for PAN

Good game, Simpl. You were one of the better BNPL. Had plenty of discounts earlier days, was nice to extend credit period by repayment via CC.
Looks like that's all gone.

Yes. Previously they were not asking. Now new users are being asked. New users usually get 1500 limit only. Mine is 2 years old I have 25k limit now. Friend opened last month. He was asked PAN details, got 1500 limit and billbox got activated this month only after first use and immediate repayment.

Initial if I remember correctly sirf 500 hi thi. Within two years almost 10-15 times increase hui limit and now it is 25k.

First limit increase aane me 4-5 months lage the mujhe to. Fir every 2-3 months. Jab 15k ho gayi limit fir to next 4 -5 months me hi 4-5 baar limit increase hoke 25k ho gayi.

Ulta kam ho gaya. Just did calculation for you. September 2021 me first transaction tha mera. Tabse leke ab tak 14800 total use kiya hai. Last year December around I think 25k ho gayo thi limit. Aur ye April-July me koi transaction nahi kiya. August me 500 kiya tha last month. Aur is month 600 hua hai.
