Slice credit card (invite only)

Anybody get this card with out opening savings account with them? ( In app)
Tq
They say using the bank services gets increased chances
So you will have to wait untill majority of bank account holders who waitlisted to recieve the card & then they might open for all

Since it is a zero balance, fully online, with a free virtual debit card, you can consider opening Slice SB account - if you are in a hurry to get their pink CC. Within 3-4 days, option to apply will be available.

If you get the card, it's OK. If not, use the account for UPI trxns and can be closed anytime later. Or, wait till 3 months, when you can re-apply for the pinkie.

I'm trying to fully understand the reward structure of my Slice credit card and I've hit a point of confusion, specifically with the term "Monies".

Here’s the reward scheme as Slice explains it:

· Till 3 lakh Monies: 1% rewards ·On reaching 3 lakh Monies: 1.5% rewards ·On reaching 5 lakh Monies: 2% rewards ·If avg. quarterly balance (last 90 days) is >5 lakh, after 5 lakh Monies: 3%

My questions are:

1. What exactly is the definition of "Monies"? From what I can tell,it seems to be the lifetime cumulative spend on the card. Is that accurate? For example, once my total all-time spending on the card crosses ₹3,00,000, my reward rate should permanently bump up to 1.5%. Is this correct?
2. Do "Monies" expire? Is this lifetime cumulative spend tracker reset annually,or does it continue forever?
3. This is the biggest confusion: REDEMPTION REDUCES MONIES! I noticed that when I redeem my reward points,my "Monies" balance also decreases by the amount of points/cashback I redeem. For example if I earned 100000 monies and once I redeem it to cash(rs 1000), my monies reduces to 0.

does this mean to earn 2% or 3% if I should not convert my monies to cash till it reaches to 5 lakh monies

It is pretty simple. Slice CC is not a purely cashback based credit card in the sense that it doesnt automatically give cashback as statement credit(like SBI CB or HDFC Swiggy card). Instead Slice card is like Tata neu cards where u get cashback in the form of neucoins. Here the cashback is in the form of their so called "monies" with 1 monei= Rs.1.
1. U get 1% cashback in the form of 1% monies. If u spend Rs.100 using the slice card u get 1 monie
2. U can either redeem these monies into cash immediately as bank transfer or let them accumulate. The expiry of these monies is 3 years.
3. If u keep accumulating the monies without redeeming then after u have collected 3 Lakh monies(meaning u have spent Rs.300000 on this card at and not redeemed them into cash) then ur default 1% cb will increase to 1.5%. The moment u redeem them so that the available monies reduce to <3lakh u will once again come back to 1% cb. So to get 3% CB u have to not only have 5 lakh unredeemed monies in ur account but also maintain 5 lakh AQB.

No harm in applying. Slice bank is anyways targetting gen-z users who r new to credit cards. This could become ur first credit card. Remember the worst she can say is NO.
