(Solved)authenticity of credit limit increase emails

hi all

i have received credit limit increase from citi and hdfc today, but both are emails, asking me to click on buttons. i checked the apps and there is no offer for both. all other bank cli i did through app. but i am afraid because these emails were marked as spam from my inbox.

sender of citi: Service@indiacommunications.citi.com

sender of hdfc:
information@hdfcbank.net

are these authentic? asking to people who successfully did their cli today.
and is there any way to do it via app or netbanking?

Yes both are genuine email address from respective banks.

thanks, hdfc i got the option on netbanking under offers. and citi i just sent the sms mentioned in email.

Is your query solved ? I hold cc of both and for Le you can always check within the app and for me I always receive le on sms, WhatsApp nowadays so left chances of scam.

yes resolved.
hdfc: i found the offer in the offers section of app.
citi: i clicked on the link in the spam email, turned out it was authentic.
