Statndard Chatarad has started sourcing Platinum Rewards Credit Card under Life Time Free pricing.

This card generally comes with a Joining/Annual of INR 250+GST but under this special offer this becomes free on spending of Rs 500 or more within 30 days from card issuance to avoid levy of onetime fee of INR 250 + GST.

My friend got call for Kyc, he did it.

After that customer care called and asked for OTP over call. after otp verification on call they sent VKYC link over email id.

VKYC is done. They took his photo, PAN photo and asked him to read OTP over that screen.

Post that during call they asked him to verify each and every details on application form. questions were visible over screen so we need to check and tell them over video call for verification.

Name, Mobile number, DOB, address PIN, office address, Product you applied, Annual salary etc.

SC bank guys ask more questions over VKYC. other bank just takes your photo + PAN photo 😅

Just now received a very long call from SCB executive.

Name, Father's Name, Mother's Name, Current Address, Office Address, PF details, Office Email ID, everything they asked.
Then asked one OTP and then submitted the application from their end.

Now received VKYC link just now.

Total 8.

Oct: 3 (1 Home loan, 2 HDFC credit card)
Nov: 1 (credit card)
Dec: 1 (credit card)
Jan: 2 (1 credit card, 1 personal loan Axis did without my consent, now they are not removing it 🙁 )
Feb: 0
March: 1 (1 BOB card- in progress)

Then it is issue from their server side 😅 .

Today Only they announced LTF offer so might be lot of load on their backend servers.

What is the thumb rule for enquiries to get a SC card approved?

As SC is foreign bank, they strictly check enquiry counts.
