Hello,

I thinking to open a standard chartered Bank account.

1. Credit card offer
2. Cashback Debit Card

But don't want to maintain 25k because it is better to go with idfc or hdfc at this AMB.

I saw digital savings a/c and 2 in 1 account in their SoC but branch refused.

Anyone have more information.

Need to open through branch only. I opened the 25k MAB account almost 6 month back with the intent to get a SC credit card. They still are rejecting my card applications so a credit card preapproved offer is still not guaranteed if you open a bank account.

What if they deduct allc500 cashback from the 25000 you have maintained?
Can they recover the cashback from MAB you have maintained as you have not maintained correct account and using cashback for last 7 months.

but if you will see SOC of SCB account variants: 25K MAB aXcess Plus account is also eligible for Prime Cashback debit card, so we do not have to fear. thinking that cashback debit card is only for 2L MAB Prime Savings Account, it is eligible for aXcess plus sba holders too

I have received this offer on emails quite 3-4 times, but I ignore because I do not use that sh*t LTF SCB CC. that's waste.
recently got 10% spends based cashback offer up to Rs. 500- so did one IRCTC ticket through that card, resting again indrawer.

Their email support is virtually non existent. They won’t ever even reply back. You have to always call for everything. They also charge for most of their banking services, even in the higher variant accounts.
