Hi Everyone, this is my first day and post in technoFino
I have 2 queries.

1) i have a hdfc regalia with > 11L limit, been using hdfc cards since 4+ years.
i am thinking of upgrading to DIners Club Black,
and is axis reserver/select/magnus better ? any other card that i should consider instead. ?
i think i can get DBC for lifetime free since i graduated from a reputed college and read it on twitter reading that hdfc gives lifetime free if i submit my degree cerfiticate, is it still valid ?

2) i also have a sbi cashback card recently and the limit is low, 50k, how can i increase it ?

The point you missed is your spends. Right now for most of the people Magnus alone give unmatched return. But if you're heavy spender, the best...
Magnus is far better compared to DCB if you are into air miles. If you have good spend and willing for paid cards and simple redemptions, please check for upgrade to Infinia within HDFC. If you don't want paid card and need only LTF cards, get DCB as LTF with Alumni program.

If you can get DCB LTF, then get axis magnus without much of thinking.
Axis Magnus has the best reward rate when you spend 1L per month.
For spends above that, you the use ur Diners card so that you get 3% reward rate.
Its easy to decide since both cards will be almost LTF, you will only need to pay around 1.8k GST for Magnus.

You will always have an option to upgrade to Infinia and HDFC Bank provides the best credit limits from my experience.

Why not magnus above 1L?

i checked for infinia, my CTC doesn't qualify for infinia, might reach there in couple of years hopefully.
i don't have much idea about air miles, will study and see, thank you for suggestion.

These cards income criteria is not always black and white. If you have good spend in the last few years (10L+) and prompt repayment, no business will want to lose you. If you have banking relationship with them in one of their HNI banking programs, it will be a added advantage.

Can anyone suggest me a way to get a higher limit on any of my existing credit cards, so I can apply for premium cards on a C2C basis?

current portfolio-

1. SBI limit -59k------ 1-year old
2. Icici Platinum CC- 100k ----- 2.5-year-old
3. Indusind Legend - 111k - 6 Months old
4. Axis Myzone - 80k ------ 10 months old
5. BOB Select- 50k ------ 4 month old
6. Citi Credit Card -60k------ 4 Months old
7. Zomato RBL - 55k --- 4-month-old

maintain good relationship with axis and sbi, use their cards regularly, and repay on time. it ll take some time, few months to year, they ll increase gradually.

The point you missed is your spends. Right now for most of the people Magnus alone give unmatched return. But if you're heavy spender, the best combo is Reserve and Magnus. Nothing is close it
If you're hitting 1L in few month in terms of spending then get Magnus and stick with it. If you're having at 2L of spending every month, get Reserve along with it.
For reference you can check out my Axis Trifecta Post as well as the Magnus' valuation post.
As discussed above, as you're new to airmiles, there are plenty of posts in "promoted posts" section, you may want to check them out

I have never used airmiles. I am unable to find the "promoted posts" you are talking about. A little guidance would be helpful. Thanks
