Swiggy Credit card issue

I got the Swiggy HDFC credit card recently but the issue is that, this card doesn't work on Amazon for HDFC offers and works only on some offers on Flipkart. I mailed grievance redressal team for this issue but they're clueless and also tried to get this card changed to a core card like Millenia but they denied. Because of this issue, I am not able to use this card, should I close this card now and apply again through c2c route after few months or try again getting this card changed to Millenia?

And what is the cooldown period in HDFC after closing?

yes, I think so.. but if the Bank wants, they can give Infinia also on 1L limit..

For me, they clearly stated that my HDFC Tata Neu Card can't be upgraded to either Millennia or Swiggy because HDFC doesn't upgrade co-branded cards. They mentioned HDFC doesn't allow more than one HDFC credit card 🤦

Additionally, they clarified that this policy is not just for me; it's for everyone 😂🤷

Is swiggy card different somehow? Had talked with CC banker once and he said swiggy card can be upgraded.

HDFC seems to give different responses to different customers. They might say something is impossible for one person but then do it for someone else.

I have HDFC Millennia CC which offers 5% CB on Amazon. But yes, I am also facing the same issue over the last few weeks. This issue used to happen earlier but it was rare. Mostly on retrying twice, the transaction used to get successful. But now its not the case.
As a solution, I am using my Amazon Icici CC which does the job but yes we have to sacrifice on the real cashback.

I had this card in Aug'23-Nov'23 I've looted using this card literally 🤣 got instant discount + 5% CB on FK. Once the CB wasn't posted had to mail them 2-3 times and they added it to my next statement. 😁

Another TF member's Moneyback CC was upgraded to LTF Millennia because "Moneyback was discontinued".

Yet, the very same "discontinued" Moneyback CC was recently renewed for another 7 years for me!

You can upgrade tata neu card to hdfc core credit card by requesting them through email.

How would they know that we purchased a grocery if there is a different MCC?
