Swiggy Money Wallet Closes on 30/06/2023

Just received a message from swiggy saying that my swiggy money wallet will be closed. I currently have around 2k in my wallet (which I added using gift card). Will that remain as is? This seems a bit sudden and did anyone receive such a message?

For those interested in details, Swiggy money FAQ are updated with all the latest info along with timelines.

Highlights:
NO Swiggy add money option , it seems. Only add gift card..
ICICI gone, incomes Razor Pay..
All gift cards expire with 12 months, Can be extended by requesting them individually... etc..

Yes, Limit is still 10K. When I loaded more than 10K gift cards (in total) last month, it was showing only a part of my last gift card as available balance. Once 1 June came the full amount was released as available balance.

I think with Razor pay partnership as it comes under RBI's PPI instrument and there is no full KYC option available , I think 10 K limit per calendar month will still be applied.. As there is no document required to use Swiggy money now, that means the account will be only mobile verified, it will be only 10K limit account for all. This is what I deduce from their FAQ literature...

I think Once Swiggy completely Migrate to Razorpay then it will Work Just like Bigbasket Wallet and Limit of 10k would be removed

Otherwise Add .money Limit must be mentioned in FAQs.
Add money limit is an important Aspect which Swiggy Can not ignore in FAQs
.

I don't know what happened with bbwallet..
Last time I checked it still has 10 K limit for me.( I haven't done any full KYC with them)
Coming back to Swiggy,
As Swiggy guys are saying this will be PPI (Prepaid Payment Instrument), the customer need to be Full KYC compliant if he/she has to enjoy limits of upto 1 lakh.
Otherwilse it will be only 10K. If they provide full kyc option then, yes 10 k limit will be removed otherwise 10 K limit will exist. Everything will be clear once the dust settles.

PS: Swiggy guys are quite canny when it comes to the drafting of their FAQ, They haven't mentioned anything about the limits earlier as well, if I remember well.

EDIT:

BTW just checked bb wallet FAQ, it seems 10 K restriction is still there. As I said I don't know much about bb wallet ,as I am a light user on bbwallet.

I never loaded BB with more than 10k in a month and never read FAQs of BB.

So, it is going to be 10k only.

I thought Amazon is allowing to add More than 10k GV in a Non Kyc Account also, so other Semi Closed wallets will too allow it.

Usually, I do not purchase it.

Recently Bank offers available on BB, were also applicable on GV Purchase ,that is why I purchased it.
Now it is ovet.

Sometimes Banks give spend based Vouchers/for other Kinds of offers
If AGV is not available for Redemption, I choose BB for Redemption

Best option is via Millenia card no? From Amazon, we get 2% discount plus 5% cashback on Millenia.

The best option to my knowledge is purchasing instant voucher on grabdeals using Axis CC during sale period (which is quite frequent), 3% instant discount + 5% cashback.
They are actually running a campaign now on Debit card 10% cashback + 3% discount. This offer ends on 19/06

Isn't it 2% instant discount+ 5% cashback? I can't see 3% discount.
Same deal we get everytime with Millenia via Amazon.
