they can simply change time in order page.

last time, I received message saying "we delivered on time, yet again" but I was shocked that my sms deduction came at 7.12pm but in app order page its 7.34pm, so they adjusted 20mins and delivered after 40mins with message "we delivered on time".

they did this to me once as well.
order was 15 minutes late,
but they did some bullshit and sent mail that delivered on time yet again.
I gave a scathing feedback but to deaf ears.

anyway I use Swiggy less and less and prefer Zomato, they've better coverage & service in my area as well.

Trying to use zomato but to my surprise zomato has high tax for same restaurant for same price item compared to swiggy. Observed same?

But swiggy anyway useless because they moved that restaurant to more than 7km to charge additional fee for delivery whereas in Zomato its under 7km.

If they change policy to 5km then I hardly will have 3 restaurants.

Both of them be it Swiggy or Zomato are also no longer relevant for ordering for a single person. The amount for free delivery is ₹199 and already discounted items are not counted at original price anymore. Plus the platform fee and packing charges have gone out of control. I mean doesnt delivery of an item imply that it needs to be packed.

Its been 6 months (since I observed these changes), all I'm trying to do by applying free delivery, 40% off etc.

just to get the item "with 30rs. extra than restaurant actual offline price", still not able to achieve that.

Yeah people loosing their faith on swiggy, Swiggy is the new flipkart of Food delivery.

Literally Zero customer Support.
“If we raise a complaint, the default response—and the only resolution—is: ‘Go ahead and rate the restaurant.’ That’s all there is to it.”

If we have raised any issues regarding food order previously and any refund issued for the issue.

Thereafter, again any similar issue is being raised then we will not be connected to customer support.

But we can mail (slow response).

So to recover costs , we need at least three late deliveries, otherwise it is a waste of money ..
In a nutshell, we should aim for more late deliveries… guess what, they punch in on-time delivery even before he arrives at our place, say when he reaches within 500m radius

They also increase the time duration by few minutes everytime it is delayed. Saw one restaurant delivering in 33 minutes after 35 minutes it was still 7 minutes remaining.
Not just Swiggy, Zomato also does the same

Radius thing will kill the opportunity to get the coupons. that last few seconds really matters, i lost so many discount coupons from Zomato Gold Coz of the Radius thing, the delivery guy enters the radius just few seconds before the completion of the promised time(can Say Zomato Standard Time), Coz Zomato Won’t match the IST shown on our devices, there’s 2-4 Seconds delay. Coz of that i lost sooooooo many coupons in the span of final 1-2 Seconds disparity

I haven't observed that closely but now will try to monitor this. In anyway, I always zwigato are cheating customers big time via this extra tax.
Except for chain brands like KFC or McD etc, restaurant inhouse prices are 25-30% lower inclusive of taxes, and zwigato is placing tax on top of that 25-30% inflated prices which should ideally be inclusive of taxes because restaurants are supposed to pay taxes on that. The service zwigato provide is the delivery convenience and they should charge tax only for that.

Swiggy charges MORE. Even after
factoring discounts n coupons.

Saving nearlt 100 every time, we use
ZOMATO - and not Swiggy.

Previously when I compared the item prices around Feb 24. Swiggy is relatively cheaper compared to Zomato.

This time, once the Swiggy membership ends I'll try Zomato. I have the Airtel Axis for 10% CB, those with HDFC Swiggy might stay because of the cashback on Instamart orders.

Grocery prices are anyways lower on bigbasket, again Airtel Axis provides 10% CB with 5% Neu coins.

Swiggy is shit. Its a like flipkart.
No support properly.
And their on time delivery is always a scam.
It shows 30 mins then after 30 mins it shows 20 mins and again the same..
They will never accept they provide late order.
Hmare system me on time hi dikha rha h.
So on time hi h.

This is their answer when we complaint for the same.
Multiple times i received wrong order but swiggy did nothing satisfying. Even after sent them mails photos of the products nothing... happened...

Both charge delivery charges - if you are not in their quarterly/annual packages.

Both charge the same % of taxes.

Both deliver in less than 10 minutes.

That is just one item. Almost all items are similarly INFLATED on Swiggy (in comparison to Zomato).

At the end, even after factoring the discounts, coupons, bank/card offers, for EXACTLY THE SAME ITEMS FROM THE SAME RESTAURANT, Zomato is certainly cheaper (in Tirupati).

So, just do not go blindly n order. Compare n be prudent.
