TATA Neu Card: Application under verification

I was hit with dreaded Your application is under verification message while applying for Tata Neu Card.

This is despite me holding HDFC Bank account and Credit card. It showed my existing card limit, and that usual thingy that shared limit and 5k till 5 days blah blah... and asked me to authenticate via HDFC Net banking / Debit Card credentials (I chose Netbanking ). After entering net banking credentials I was hit with the under process message.

What actually happened here ?? Was there some error or network issues during entering Netbanking Credentials?

No Change in Mobile number or address was made, it was fetched as per my bank account.

What should be my next step, considering I don't even have an HDFC application number except Tata neu Ref Number.

Nothing happened, just wait for 1 or 2 days. Your card will be approved.
It is just normal process..
If it stays there for longer period then we will look into it

Thanks, Actually I don't want my CIBIL hit to be wasted. And I thought that Card will be generated instantaneously, obviously I was wrong.

I applied yesterday.
It is showing under verification now.
I have savings and a current account with HDFC, but still a person came for home and office verification today.
Waiting to see what happens.

For most of hdfc applications cibil hit is a must, whether existing customer or not

It is showing under verification now.

I authenticated through netbanking.

@xross Was there any change in address on record with HDFC bank and Card Delivery Address in Application?
Also , in home verification within a day, very fast action by HDFC.

Go for offline way. Ask them to apply tata neu as floater card with your existing card. Most of the branch people aren't aware of this so you probably need to contact Nodal officer and all. But this is possible coz I applied that way only.

Not sure if I am willing to take Another CIBIL hit with offline form process.

took around 5 working days from application till card generation message. even I didn't know during that time whether it was approved or not.

Update: So more than 24 hours passed and didn't hear anything from HDFC.

So I fired Neu app to check the application number and it ran some checks and asked me to provide OTP to view card details.
Provided OTP and card was visible, and after that I received email that card is approved.

Usually there will be am email from Tata Neu on Cc application ...After 18-24 hrs if you click on the email link from Tata Neu, you will be able to see virtual card after providing OTP. Around 3-5 working days you will get the phyical card ( depend on city). This is considering you have a HDFC CC or savings account. Also within 2 working HDFC will email you a copy of your application ( mostly status marked as approved).

BTW I like the way they wrote about lounge access "12 airport lounge access (No Spend criteria)"

True, it seems that I posted too soon.

While I am able to see the card and set the transaction limits, I am not able to see the full card details even after providing OTP. It always ends up an error.

It seems things are still setting up in background. Will wait for couple of days before trying again.
