Hi.. Please help me with the suggestion to weather go with rupay or visa platform for tata neu infinity.

I already have ICICI coral and BOB premier on Rupay plaform so thinking of skipping the Rupay variant of Neu.



Kindly help me with your suggestions on choosing between the two.

Percentage of rewards on UPI transactions are higher in Tata neu Rupay card.

Tata Neu Rupay is more rewarding. You can apply other Visa cards later. There are so many and easy to get.

Tata Neu Infinity is a Card beneficial only when you use it for mainly UPI transactions so, I suggest you to go for RuPay variant.

So, if you require then you can change the variant of ICICI or BOB card.

Do you have HDFC Core CC? If yes then Tata Neu CC approval will take 2 to 3 days
If no
Then first apply for HDFC Core CC, if you have taken HDFC co-branded CC then it is difficult to take core cc

It will be approved within a Week... It's still beneficial and you can apply if your existing Limit on your HDFC card is more than 1.5L.

Note: Don't take any Co-Branded Card as your first card in HDFC Bank.

btw for upi 1.5% cb do you have to use tata pay only or adding for rpay CC on paytm will also give 1.5% cb?

You can use any app for CC UPI payment, you will get 1.5% cashback on Tata Neu Infinity Rupay CC.

I had contacted Tata Neu’s customer care (chat) in their app, to specify my preference for RuPay. After some time, they had called me directly on my phone.

I wanted RuPay since I didn’t have any RuPay card till then. But as regards usage, I did not/do not encounter any drawbacks of any sort.
