Today, I’m sharing my experience of getting the PNB Rupay Select Imperial Debit Card — and honestly, this isn’t just another debit card, it’s one of the most rewarding ones currently available in India.

Let me start from the beginning — I had applied for this Debit Card recently (the only reason I opened an account with PNB) The benefits and vouchers that come bundled with the Imperial variant easily exceed ₹16,000 in total value (maybe even more, I haven’t done the exact math yet!).

What makes it even more interesting is that PNB allows up to two add-on cards, meaning you can actually have three Imperial Debit Cards linked to a single account.

Although a few posts on Technofino already discuss PNB’s new debit card lineup, I wanted to make a dedicated thread exclusively for the Imperial Debit Card — so that anyone planning to apply or looking for real-world experiences can find everything here and discuss their queries directly related to this.

Eligibility: You need to open a basic savings account with PNB (Unnati savings scheme). Then you have to transfer 1 lac into the account in order to be eligible. I have enquired from the people already holding the cars that the balance does not need to be maintained, also PNB does not have any non maintenance charges. If you think any debit card

can i cancel and reapply, ye naya branch hai and people are super noob there, they applied it before i loaded 1L , and argued with me that ye v select hi hai isme v same benefits hai. Bkl log.

not sure bro.. but redeem benefits of this half year atleast. myntra, reliance , decath - 500 & apollo - 250

Also what was the process? which account variant?
After opening account how many days you applied for debit card?

Visited the branch to apply for imperial debit card.. the process was smooth
My a/c varient is normal savings account

Just one thing, even though i blocked my existing cards by app, they were still showing active in branch so had to fill another form to block all the cards manually by branch.

(deposited the money yesterday and able to apply for imperial card without any issues, there were dozens of other cards with many rupay select options but applied for imperial as it was the best option to choose from)

bro were you able to register on rupay website as I don't see option of imperial rupay card there.
I do see there is Imperial Salary Ruapy, are they both same even. Can I register it even without the salary one?

No the issuance charge means the first year fee as well. So for first year it's 708

bin for imperial is 65249710, what are next 2 digits for this?
Add on rupay website and find out what benefits it has

Guys, visited pnb bank today, I have Excel salary account with them, they said you can get only excel rupay select debit card , as there system is not showing any other option for imperial or optima debit card

PS: I am maintaining 1lakhs mab from past many months

Try visiting another pnb branch, they might be knowledgeable. Or visit the same branch again. Tell them the card code is SAI.
All pnb accounts are eligible for it. I have basic unnati savings account and I got the card. You just need to maintain 1 lac at the time of applying after that you can reduce the balance.

i applied for add on cards yesterday..
i filled the form and asked the employee to apply for 2 addon, which he tried but failed as the system allowed to apply for only 1 addon at a time..
even after approving the request, he wasn't able to apply for 2nd add on at that moment...

but some people in this thread mentioned that they applied for 2 addons at once..

also today i checked and found out yesterday there was a debit of 1416 (duplicate card charges) ? shouldn't it be 708 for one addon ? or it's for two addon cards ?

(branch is far so can't visit branch anytime soon)
