Last week, I booked Zurich-Mumbai tickets for my family (myself, wife, and daughter) through Travel Edge. Despite having our passenger profiles saved in the system, the portal generated incorrect tickets. While my wife's and my tickets were correct, my daughter's ticket showed "Miss Sagar"(my name) instead of her actual name.
I immediately contacted Travel Edge support regarding this error, explaining that since our profiles were pre-saved, this must be their system error. They responded saying they'd contact the airline, but later informed me that name corrections weren't possible and denied any issue on their portal. I am still following up with them on this.
Today, I made another booking today (Madrid-Zurich). I recorded the entire booking process, carefully selecting all pre-saved passenger names. Surprisingly, the same error occurred - my daughter's ticket again showed my first name instead of hers.
This confirms the issue was with the Travel Edge portal. I have documentation proving this is their system error:
- Pre-saved passenger profiles
- Video recording of the booking process
- Generated tickets showing the error
Has anyone faced similar issues with Travel Edge? How can I escalate this for resolution? They are not very responsive on email and the Travel Edge helpline is always busy.
