Unable to open HDFC account

I recently applied online to open HDFC account . However , I had a pretty bad experience . First of all i applied on the portal and got this page saying that a customer representatiive will call me or i have to visit branch to complete KYC . But when i went to the branch ,instead of doing the KYC , branch tried to open a new account and was faced with a " Lead creation API failure. Can anyone please guide me as to what i can do? Please Help Me

Yeah, bcs the previous appl u submitted didn't have the employee code. So it won't counted in his performance/achievements tab
Right but reality is when online application don't process, they can't continue with it at branch to complete KYC. Happened with my cousin too. He applied for Savings max acc. No account number or Cust ID generated instantly instead he got the message at final screen that HDFC Bank representative will call and come to home to take KYC. Nobody came for 3 days and later he visited branch to find what OP gets to know. They said we can't continue with application you submitted online as there was error.

I establish an analysis that those account which aren't opened using a mobile don't generate instantly and throw this error. So better use a mobile device instead of using laptop/desktop browser.

The same happened in a mobile device too for me , it doesn't work

Talk to customer care and see what they say. This problem of HDFC acc not opening is only on desktop/laptop browser while when you use mobile phone it generates account instantly and moves to vKYC. The api which tracks location, camera and mic access has some issues as at final page if it finds access to it, generates Cust ID and Acc. number else not and make a application lead instead.

You can also force branch to continue with current application.

You can't open account onlne by using any other ID. Aadhaar based eKYC is only allowed to open account digitally. Moreover you can open an account with Aadhaar-based eKYC only once with one bank. As you currently don't have acc. with HDFC, call customer care to get the application you already made cancelled and retry with a mobile device but first give Location access and turn on location first and also give mic, camera access to browser you use before starting the whole process. In site settings also allow these three permissions. Use Mobile Data instead of WiFi.
 
Update : A person from the branch contacted me asking me to open the account offline only but i have to deposit 25k as a initial fuding

Mine generated cust id but nothing else,should i visit the branch?

Also is first time deposit should be strictly a cheque?
